That's our Tribe Ovela called T'boli. Thank you so much for reacting to our Tribe🙏, also the title of their song "Koyu nu te bulul" means "Tree at the tap of mountain", and the sound you said when their moving that's our T'boli belt called "Hilot T'boli", and the T'boli female Clothes called "Kegal Nesif"

You once reacted to a T'boli lady who chanted. There was a video of that that you reacted to. This song performance by the Univ of Mindanao Choir (in Taiwan) is also of T-boli heritage. This particular song arrangement of Koyu no te bulul was arranged by Eudenice Palaruan. As a compose and arranger, Mr Eudenice Palaruan (not the conductor in this video you are reacting to) gathered and collected folk songs and tunes from around the country during his many travels. and then gave these traditional tribal songs new music arrangements s they can be appreciated in the modern times. Various chorale groups in the Philippines as well as those chorale groups abroad were quick to adopt the arrangement. Palaruan is one of the Philippines' most esteemed teacher of music, composition and conducting at various universities, and in churches. Yes, he is also a church musician in the area of choral music. As a choral artist, he has worked with the Philippines' top chorale groups. His compositions and arrangements are highly sought after. His musical arrangement and composition style always wins world awards. He is now based in Singapore where he is currently directing and conducting both the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Singapore Bible College Chorale. Eudenice is often invited to adjudicate in international composition competitions and give masterclasses in choral conducting.

thier costume is the costume of Tiboli - one of the indigenous people of the Philippines. Each group/tribe have their own particular culture. thier music is the reflection of thier lifes love and struggles.

From my research the song talks about a person who is trying to catch a bird that is in a tree up on the mountain top. The clucking/clapping sound imitates the attempt of catching the bird with their hand

I would like to share about this piece, with them literally learning this very piece. It is about a child who wants to get the bird chirping (where the "R" sounds inspired from) on top of a tree full of thorns, in the mountainous region of Mindanao. This very piece can be appreciated more directly to your ears.

The beat they have is the rhythm of rowing a boat. That's indeed from Mindanao. The people from the mountains in northern Luzon, their beat is the cadence of march going to war.The tapping
of the spears on the ground.
