Sideshow killed this. When I saw this reveal a while back, I wasn't sure how this would compare with XM's Cap. Both are fantastic for different reasons. Really love the action pose and the shield.
Wow, there’s people that don’t like the ricochets? They totally make the statue, those people are crazy, they look absolutely amazing.
This Cap simply destroys all Sentinel of Liberty sculptures that came before it. Fabulous. Pose, muscles, a true super soldier, with attitude and momentum. The best ever, at any scale, licensed or custom.

Killer Cap! My only possible issue would be a leaning problem down the road! Still a great Cap and the price point is fantastic!
Exactly. I like the statue designs but we all know the dynamic poses will lean at some point in the future. Leaning issues are exactly the reason why 90% of these premium statues have at least one leg in a raised/bent pose.
That's the only reason why I will pass probably, no way it will stay like that after years.
@@rainman415 for real brother. I see a lot of poses like this which really is crazy to me how the designers think this will last. The Kotobukiya Cyclops has the same exact pose. Even musuem/vanilla posed statues with metal pegs lean, how much more this.
@@3rdstrikeryu102 I'm fine with a standard museum pose for most statues. Just can't imagine paying premium prices for something that may have an issue down the line. Hopefully Storm and Nightcrawler pfs will be okay...

That art box is phenomenal. The bullet ricochet came out great and the weathering looks solid on his costume and shield. Probably my favorite Cap statue Sideshow killed it.
Another nice statue with a great design. I like that it's based on the comic book Steve Rogers, the details are crazy.

Very beautiful captain America statue comics version 👍
It really is a Captain America in classic action form under fire!! Very comic book almost vintage style like maybe Alex Ross(?) Plus the winged helm and expression (yep!) and the shield deflecting fire! I thought the not yet Hydra Style standing Cap holding an Ultron helmet was unsurpassable in so many ways for its grit and grimness, and it is. But this is something worse that is so unexpectedly cool and vintage!

Honestly this is probably my favorite Cap. Love the comic look, the lunging and I really really dig the 'under fire' effect they did here, it works really well.
Sideshow is really staging a comeback since.... I feel Dr Strange. Nightcrawler, Asajj, Cap, Psylocke, the JSC fairy tale line.... and all at seemingly affordable price where everyone else has just gone crazy.
Such a dynamic piece, Cap in action is definitely a much more interesting way to depict him than a standard museum pose. Pre-ordered day one and I can't wait for it to arrive. Great review!

I only buy comic inspired pieces versus movie stuff…and this is the definitive captain America for me. Normally I only buy stuff that will go with other villains commonly associated with the character. I don’t really have anything to go with this, but it was too cool to pass up.

This is probably the best looking "comic" Cap in an action pose that's ever been made. At first I wasn't into the bullet effects, but seeing them in your video makes all the difference and I have to admit they look phenomenal. I don't think I'll end up getting him as I got rid of all of my Avengers that weren't space related, but you never know :).
That box is beautiful! I’d love a big poster like the front of the box. Epic statue. Really makes me want one.
Waiting for release to order it. I don't want to wait. This was phenomenal in the photos- he jumps off the page/screen with his shield. The legs and boots pop as does his definitive jaw and stern look. I love how the calm determination contrasts the situation- I don't think I look that calm running up a flight of stairs, let alone running through bullet fire. Sideshow knocked it out of the park with this one.
They did a great job with Cap. Love the detail and action pose. The Hydra logos are nice touches on the base.
I can’t wait to get this in. One of the last pieces I need in my collection. I’ve been patiently waiting for the perfect Cap and this looks like it.

I have last XM Cap and he's almost similar to this one. With Hydra stuff on the base too and more switch outs, for me XM is a better option, but this one looks great too.

Waiting for my own to arrive, love that it is closer to the comics than the movies.. wish we had a XM distributor in the US for that reason … shipping on those pieces is like half or 1/3 the cost of another statue … I think your Trio will pair awesome Captain America , Black Widow and Task Master

The ricochets look awesome and makes the piece move and I feel like it gives added dimension, I think I might pick the statue up it's still available.

I have this on order. I can't wait to get him. I have the Bel Cap too, I may have two Cap displays going instead of one. I think this one will go with my Avengers set up and I may have the Bel Cap either just by himself or surrounded by other Cap statues of varying sizes.

The bullets hitting the shield & the base looks absolutely amazing, I love the look of that so much, why the hell don’t they do that more often? It looks so cool, I would buy that statue for that alone, it looks brilliant.

Looks very similar to the Bowen Designs Captain America action statue. Bowen Designs produced the best marvel statues that resembled the artwork from the comic books.

At first I thought the effect of the ricochet bullets looked cheesy, but the more I’ve been seeing reviews on this guy, they look great. I hope it’s not the lighting either. I’m still cool with my Daniel Bel one though. Congrats whoever picks this one up.

I'm really thinking about starting collecting again.
I love this O.G. comic stile Captain America so much that I ordered it and mine should be coming soon. Love the action pose and with those ricochet bullets sparks it gives the whole sculpt a dynamic look to it. I am hoping that Sideshow would make a Red skull with eather a machine gun in one hand and a luger in the other or just standing in a menacing pose on a base that has Hydra soldiers with machine guns in a foxhole in front of the Red Skull. That way it would make a perfect companion with both Captain America and the Black widow pieces. Anyway can't wait to get mind in.
