I will admit I'm a bit biased given my love for Ferraris, and the fact I'm driving the car on some incredible mountain roads may have made me a bit misty eyed but I truly believe the 488 is one of the best supercars you can buy today

they took the GT out of gtb far too seriously, like the frnt engined ferrari is supposed to be the tourer while the mid-engine should be crazy one, theyre doing it backwards

not enough intelligent people who appreciate good quality cinematography and content - everyone just falls for the copycats and clickbaiters
I think cinematography wise he should have at least 400-500k more subs, but in my opinion the thing that is not quite there yet is the commentary... although I love it, I understand that most people don't like this sort of "informal reviews". I think that if Sam wrote some kind of script, kept it more serious and included more info he'd have millions of subs for sure.
Matias Petrali your exactly right! Yeah the editing, footage , and cinematography is great but for someone like me that isn't really here for that I'd rather have better actual reviews on the cars themselves which is where someone like Mr. JWW's videos are more appealing, because he gives much more insightful views on the cars themselves and particularly because he has owned a lot of these cars he is perhaps a better critic of them. I feel with Sam he is younger and more concerned with constantly making nervous/awkward jokes sometimes than actually conveying what we (or most) are actually for and that is the experience of the car itself

jameswillard1 Couldn't have said it better myself. We all enjoy great cinematography but it's not the be all end all of a good video, which I think some of the younger crowd might feel.
I would have loved to hear more about how the car was to drive and why he seemingly enjoys it more than the 720s as well.
I've been bitching before about how there's often not enough driving footage and how these guys rather film their own faces instead of the cars so I don't want to complain too much since there was tons of driving in this video. One step at a time I guess. :)
The POV was such a great addition it really made the viewer feel like they were driving or in the passenger seat. Absolutely incredible video as usual, Sam!

Sam you bloody nailed it! I'm a Ferrari nut as well and this video took me to another planet. I could imagine how it would feel to drive such a beauty. There're plenty of incredible supercars and hypercars out there, but there's quite nothing that triggers you as much as Ferrari does. Period.
Edoardo Brotto exactly! Ferrari are the biggest, most prestigious and historic super car brand, all the other brands are trying to be what Ferrari are. The cars are made with passion not in science labs. Period

yup looks very familiar at about the 6 minute mark shredding past other cars. Drove one in San Diego east county for a day and set my personal speed record. Ripped past sooo many cars with very little effort. It's not just the power, but the braking is absolutely amazing. It is not overpriced.

I own a 458 Spider and once had the opportunity to drive a 488 GTB. The performance of the 488's suspension is even better than the phantastic one of the 458, and the torque is even higher and smashes you towards the horizon. All I miss in the 488 is the singing engine. The one of the 488 does not sound bad, but far more dull compared to the 458. So I'm not sad owning "just" a 458.
Your love of Ferrari really shows, this video is brilliant, so well shot. Its really working having Joel working for you, he's able to get the shots you couldn't on your own

Having driven both 458 & 488 a few times I would agree, the 488 is the better car. stiffer, tighter, more focused, quicker. both awesome though.
Yes MrJWW probably combines the best mix of crazy cars,locations with pretty good cinematography but this video shows you are step above him which means any other car youtuber.Keep up the sick content💪😀
Thank you Sam. I drove the Timmelsjoch Hochalpenstraße today, simply because of your video. In fact, I drove from the UK and made sure that I included this stunning road on my itinerary. The weather was a lot better today than it was on your video but sadly, I wasn't in a Ferrari. Thank you again, what a fantastic drive! PS. I think that you drove from the Italian side, it's better to drive from the Austrian side, better views as the Italian part isn't as spectacular.

Surprisingly with 60 HP up on the Huracan and don't know how much more torque, it was beaten by the Lambo driven by the same professional racing driver and on the same tyres at Willow Springs. That tells me the Huracan is one heck of a car.

Sam, FANTASTIC content, editing and aerial shots on this epic video and drive! For me the 458 Italia is a more ‘connected’ car than the 488, but at this level we are splitting hairs, for sure. I wonder if it would be prudent or advisable to have a manual transmission car on these twisty bits or tarmac. You are head and shoulders above the rest, Sam.
