Weather has been crazy here too. Went up today and there was no snow in the lower mountains.. two weeks ago there was a few feet.. there is still snow in the higher elevations up towards 7000 feet. . But weather has been warm.. Great to see u at the beach snooping around. Great to see the big rig too. I love the beach videos.. but it sounded windy and I hate the wind😅. Watch out for them ankle breakers

I went to the Split Rock Lighthouse during a bad winter wind event... waves were putting spray 90+ feet in the air as they crashed into the bluff! The ice hanging off everything was surreal! We went up to snow tube at one of the ski resorts. And drink beer! And play poker at night... I made enough to pay for the trip LOL

My family has a cabin up in skanee at the base of the kewanau peninsula. I have panned in a few streams but I'm going up for a week this summer to focus on just spending time gold hunting. I just watched a video you had of running black sand from the beach. I definitely gotta check that out.

Can't believe you go out and do this in the winter. I did it once and it sucked, I had to walk a mile to my spot in my waders and I was sweating and freezing at the same time. I tried to set up my sluice but couldn't find a good spot so I just took a bucket of stuff from the inside bend home with me. Don't forget to give Rigby a treat, he needs it, hes a hard working miner. He's a good boy. 👍 my dogs like those dried chicken jerkey strips. They are like 8 bucks a bag. I forget the brand name. But they love them.

I understand your frustration, with 2' of snow in the yard and 22⁰ at night here in Prescott Arizona I'm going down to the desert where it's going to be warmer. Going to highbank with my homemade trommel and Goldwell Sluice by recirculating water (there's none in the desert) out Wickenburg way.
I'm over hear in Pinetop/Lakeside. We have six inches here or more...No gold over hear in the east side of the state. Bummer. !! Have a good winter. AZ-329 click click

I know a good place in Florida on the gold coast where they use a machine to vacuum the sand and replace the beach after a storm. Lots and Lots of black sand stripes. I used to go down there during Shuttle launches.

@@FlourgoldWizards its an amazing process of putting the beach back. I would be in the area every Shuttle launch as part of my job with NASA at the time. I'd pass the time and go down to the beach and well, in one case the beach was gone and water was up to the access steps to said beach. I'd come back to the next launch and the beach was in the process of being 'put back'. Well, we all know what out in the sand out there. Darned near anything including maybe gold. If I ever venture down there for a vacation, now that Shuttles are done, you can bet I'll take a detector and a pan.
It’s been between 50 and 60 degrees here in Cincinnati for two weeks now, and for the foreseeable future. The weather is absolutely fubar lately.
I'm not complaining... yet.
So long as it doesn't frost my peach trees again. Dayton area btw.
