I did the same when I found it.
Genius idea to use tape to mark the holes in the brackets!!! I measure with a tape measure and am ALWAYS off no matter how particular I am. Which makes me procrastinate hanging shelves for a looooong time. Thanks for that hack!!!

I had never thought of using tape on the back of something I'm hanging to transfer the mark of where I want to put the nail/screw at on the wall. Will do this from now on, thank you!

Thanks for making this, I too have a desk that only has a shelf and no drawers. I opted to add a narrow 7 drawer from IKEA which acts like shallow drawers. I likely will duplicate what you did with your papers in the other organization video with your new cricut tool. If you want to start up a cottage industry you could just put together sets of those furniture pieces, bins and the corresponding labels. I know I would buy one just to not have to do this project for myself! Thanks again for taking the time to do these and give us practical examples of your efforts.

Your little desk area is inspiring me now! I’ve always been bad about cord organization, so I’m always happy when you include this in your videos, Randi! Right now my problem area in our new house is figuring out how to set up our DVD player and systems. And my desk is another thing I’ve been thinking about. Your video gives me some ideas-thank you. Please don’t put the contact fake wood on your desk. Chalk paint? Annie Sloan (prime the laminate first with Kilz) & Annie Sloan wax over top. Black or Gold for legs.
How about a Murphy Bed that converts to desk or bookcase when it’s an office but can be a quick transform for guests?

Hi Martina! The folding table is temporary, until I get a bed. I have so many ideas, and I can't make a decision. 🤦🏼♀️ There's barely enough room for a twin bed. But I have guests coming next month! 😱 Thanks for the great suggestions!

Hello, from Salem, Oregon! I seem to always wake up early on Fridays hoping you've posted. Love watching your videos! I say keep the legs black, as I don't care for gold. FYI, not sure if this happens for anyone else, but the music is a lot louder than your voice over. So, I'm always turning the volume up and down. I don't seem to have this problem with other channels I watch 🤷♀️ Thanks again for your inspiration Randi!

Hi Randi, thanks another great video! I am so jealous you had snow flurries! We have snow on the mountains in San Diego, but no flurries. Great solution for the cords. They really can make a neat room look messy. Drives me nuts! Command hooks are the best! Love the new bird lamp. I think it would be neat to paint the legs of your desk gold. I am thinking they would be more neutral but in a fun way.
Hi Ruthe! I'm so not used to all the rain and cold. 😂 I think the black would be safe...but the gold might warm things up a bit. 🤷🏼♀️ I do have a ton of black spray paint I should probably use. 😂 TFS!

Didn’t realize it was Friday, I am a bit off from getting back from vacation, was so happy to see your video! You are so thorough with your organizing and cleaning…very inspiring. We just returned from California visiting our son and wife and new grandson….was disappointed with the weather. Living in wisconsin I was looking forward to warmer and sunshine….nope it was rainy and 50 was the high…of course the sun came out the day we left. We did not see the snow you had though! Have enough of that in wisconsin..lol Thank you for doing these videos as I am organizing and decluttering my house you give me ideas… we have a room that’s multifunctional as well…very difficult to decorate and organize.

Hello Randi, thank you for another wonderful video. Can you provide me with the brand of cord hangers you use? I like that they are clear.
My wet/vac is falling apart and I wouldn't recommend. I had a Bissell and I liked it. I'm looking for a new one, but not sure just yet. The leaf blower is a Homelite? I think. it's Home Depot and very affordable.

I need to organize my corner of my bedroom with my office stuff. Things get out of control so quickly.
You should put just the tea light candles instead of the small glass votives on the candelabra. It would be safer and soften the larger look of it.

I wondered about that room! You have files and the shredder in the kitchen, but we’ve had glimpses of a room upstairs with two office chairs. I also find that I don’t make it upstairs with papers. I have a townhouse. I sit at the breakfast bar with my iPad and the papers. My file drawers are downstairs in the basement laundry area. It’s a weird mud room off the garage, with a built-in desk that’s too high and cabinet and shelves. There’s a space under the stairs and that’s where my two 2-drawer files are. My second bedroom is too small for them.
You make me feel better about not having all the office-related things in one place. 💕 It’s not my fault - I didn’t get to design the home.
I have all of our bills and documents downstairs. The desk is set up so I have somewhere to edit and I also work remotely from home. Kind of like a separate work office and home office. 🤷🏼♀️

Hi Randi, truly enjoy your videos and I am ready to tackle my weekend cleaning. I have wanted a stick vac for sometime now and finally bit the bullet and purchased but I'm having a bit of buyers remorse. Can you tell me how you like your Dyson, pros and cons you've encountered since it seems you have had it for awhile?
I love my Dyson. I got it on sale. Black Friday. Cons: no removable battery, and the tank is a bit small. Has three settings, and the battery doesn't last on high power setting. 🤷🏼♀️
But It is so convenient and easy to use. Mine came with a ton of attachments! I love it.

Hi! Not at all! 😂 That's more of my husband's things. People have a tendency to give you the same thing over and over because they see something in your house. So you end up with a collection. But I do like them.
