I grew up half a mile from the other la Nova's and the the pizzaria across the street mysteriously burned down in an "accident" shortly after they opened. It's well known around here that the old man and his sons have a mob connection. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if davey one slice was coerced into a good score. The pizza isn't that good anyways. Buffalo has a shitload better food to offer that isn't la Nova's, trust me.

If you know the restaurant business than you know owners are usually reluctant to take people into their freezers,especially non-staff,due to how nasty or dirty the freezers usually are.I'm glad the owner is at least ensuring things are in an acceptable manner that even a guy like Dave and his cameras can go in there.Ive seen some nasty freezers in my days,one had mushrooms growing in it.
I worked in one “fancy restaurant” that had standing water in the walk in fridge & the door to the wall in literally did not even close all the way and half the employees didn’t wear gloves

Funny story about this… I’ve been friendly with Joe for 5 years now he comes down to marriot harbor beach in fort laud during winter and I’m a member there
We met and he always saw me wearing watches
Before Covid in 19 he said I want to get this ap my dealer has it at a discount (before market went crazy) I said that’s crem de la crem (perpetual cal) he got like 30% off and was like 68k
We saw each other after Covid craziness but at height of market and he was hollering how it’s worth 200k now and thank you so much haha

La Nova’s was my favorite Buffalo place when I lived there (many many years ago). Bocce’s was good, too. But like Dave, I like a thin, crisp slice when I’m standing on the sidewalk. Buffalo pizza is a full-on meal.
I'm relatively new to these Pizza Reviews and this is so far the most hilarious one. He even brought him into his bathroom and it seems like Dave can't say no. I guess that's why I'm reading so many coke comments on all his videos.

This is an instant classic. This guy is awesome.
Joe Tadaro Sr. was one of the biggest earners for the Buffalo family faction of Cosa Nostra, and later became boss. In all of his years as the head of one of the founding member families of the Commission, he was never charged and convicted of a felony. The FBI never had anything conclusive to convict him with. He died in retirement never having served a day in prison. The same is true with his son, the man you see that runs La Nova. Of more than 30+ years of combined leadership between the Tadaros, they’ve never had their day in court. Say what you will about the Buffalo faction, but nobody can deny they are some of the smartest criminals in history, they’ve got this shit down to an art.

My parents grew up in Buffalo and then had us kids and raised us in Florida. Every summer we went to visit our fam in Buffalo and they always had La Nova pizza and wings waiting for us.
