I'm glad you commented on one of Wallie's videos, or else I never would've found your channel! This vid is really good, and I look forward to watching more of your mall videos later. Am tired, and have to go to bed. I now subscribed to your channel, as of today btw.
-- When Boardwalk Fries closed a LONG time ago, it just wasn't the mall to me anymore. Toss in Spencer Gifts as well. KB Toy Store. Sears was a big one.
You mentioned that sun coast didn’t exist anymore. Well I have amazing news. Head over to the mall at Fairfield commons in Fairborn Ohio and you can see an amazing sun coast store with all its neon.
If you look at the drop in population per generation that is also an issue. Its not just online sales. Also each generation has a less money adjusted for inflation than the one before it. That was a Suncoast. It was replaced by something else they didn't change the storefront though. It's funny Horrocks is moving from the old Sears building.
Yes, what you thought was a Suncoast was one. I'm guessing that people went from buying video to renting it, and Amazon.com did the coup de grace to the video business. (See also record stores). Also having disappeared was a Radio Shack and a Hallmark store.
How tf does this footage look so perfect? It's like you're playing a video game, its looking like you recorded this on your PC at 4k 60fps with your NVIDIA TITAN X graphics card.
No one goes to old places anymore, old war battlefields, old historically significant places, monuments, ETC. They are HAUNTED!!! Especially old movie theaters.. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Firekeepers (a casino-resort) may be drawing off many of the people who used to work in the mall stores. It has its own retailing as boutique stores. Of course, most people who go to the casino end up with less money than they went in with, unless employees... The winners do not go to a shopping mall (or even Wal*Mart or Target) for small purchases.

Yes that was a Suncoast. It's been a few "local" stores since then but there hasn't been a remodel (obviously).

I did some research, and I didn't know that the current Horrock's in BC WAS an old Sears! Turnabout is fair play, I guess!
I’m so sad an disappointed to see the one and only mall in Battle Creek dying.😩

I use an Osmo Mini. It's very small and it has a gimbal that steadies the image. Thanks for asking!

Battle Creek mi has fire keepers casino that is keeping Battle Creek strong
yeah, they have a casino, so they don't need malls, department stores, or any other business
