👏🏽👏🏿👏🏼👏🏽 BRAVO 👏🏼👏🏾👏🏻👏🏻 FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC 👍🏾🥋 There are so many gems in this roll. Y'all were dropping jewels like a drunken pirate! 💎 💎💎 Im 49 and hope to roll as knowledgeable as this one day. 🫡 Much respect to your professor's way and throw back to the orgins of our martial art.
I believe jiu jitsu should be taught this way or an emphasis on this type of training for longevity of the athletes and sparking creativity. Treat it like ballroom dancing.
I think flow rolling is " asking your partner, "do you know what to do here?" and allowing them to make the right decision without cranking...playful yet challenging..
@ so I do keep pushing the submission till I get a tap? I feel like guys resist tapping so hard a lot if the time that it messes up the flow. It’s like everything is light and playful but then I have to actually crank a limb with serious intentions to get tap. I’m not really trying to complain, I’m just trying to figure out the correct energy abd resistance to be bringing into a flow roll. My idea is that it should be minimal effort and more about recognizing things to shoot for than getting precise finishes that can defeat full blown resistance. But then maybe I’m wrong, maybe if it’s done smooth enough the tap will just come and I won’t have to spend time trying to force it out of guys who don’t want to take an L.
What a beautiful flow roll. Loved the narration and music too. I'm 47 and I wish I could have more flow rolls like this.
Amazing - keep rolling!
That was a whole conversation while in movement. A good responsive flow is just 🔥
Such a fun and informative video!

Thanks, bro. I appreciate it.
That is brilliant. Never heard of such a thing.
That’s just awesome. It’s the type of training I dream about. At 58, fighting for my life against the young guns in the gym is getting old.
Just talk to them
I'm 62.. Same!
@@mazupazuI do, I do. Sometimes it works. But a lot of people just aren’t good at flow rolling. It’s not their fault, it’s just not done enough.
This is what I like to do for my first roll. I usually dont even go for subs my first roll. Very nice 👍🏻

Do you actually try to tap each other though or do you just let go if you think you’ve basically got it?
Grabbing taps in transition is fine.
