Great video!! Keep pushing that spirit of excellence in your household. That's why alot of people's lives are so chaotic now, and they try to criticize the people who bring order rather than disorganization. Chores are a necessity in teaching your kids structure and discipline and also in building their work ethic. Those kids are gonna be alot more productive in life than alot of kids these days who had soft parents not instilling anything in them. You do the work first and then you can play and enjoy life later. Mama I commend you for instilling real life lessons in your kids and your husband for being a strong support system for you.

Hey sis, it’s nice seeing your beautiful family. Always remember kids and teens need to be able to enjoy their lives. Then staying up late on the weekend shouldn’t be an issue. You both decided to have a bunch of kids, so you shouldn’t be upset when they don’t want to help out all the time with their younger siblings. I see y’all don’t give the kids enough time to grow and be nurtured before having more. Continue to stay blessed.
@teetee3064 I was wondering if anyone else shared these sentiments. One of the most unfair things we can do to our kids is expect them to take on parental roles with their siblings and want them to think or act like adults. The Bible says when I was a child ,i thought as a child ..Teaching is repetitive and children need understanding and Grace as well.. As was said to the daughter, ask God for motherly wisdom and the heart of a Godly mother so that your speech can be softer when dealing with the kids. Children are gifts from God and should be nurtured and treated with respect as should the parents...

Train up a child. They are raising their children right. Stop acting like you didn't have chores when you were young. Stop acting like your parents just let you be kids all of the time. There is a time and place for everything. I you are paying attention they are teaching their kids that if you make a mess clean it up. They are teaching them responsibility. I'm sure they have time to be kids and enjoy themselves. Also, if they don't have some type of order, then their house will be so chaotic and their children will grow up to be unproductive adults. They are doing the right thing.
Children are a blessing but I don't know why ppl choose to have a lot of kids then complain about all the things they have to do because they have so many kids. Make it make sense!

Dont let nobody twll u how to raise them kids girl i grew up with 7other siblings it was the same ....looking back i dont regret it 1bit my brothers protetct me up to this day even the younger ones i can cook anything know how to clean and keep my self well grounded dont have a kid but know how to raise 1 cuz of my siblings ❤❤❤❤😊kudos to u

I love you and your family so I’m not here to criticize but to pray for solutions. Momma seemed to be in a bad mood bc she didn’t have enough time for herself before everyone got up. I can totally relate but the planning of the day’s events should have been done at the least the day before.
Also chores should be assigned and written on the white board for everyone to see. And they should also be rotated so everyone gets practice. If one child is doing a large load of dishes then another child should be assigned to take care of the rest of the kitchen. Like wiping out crumbs in cabinets, dumping crumbs out of the toaster, cleaning the stove, wiping down countertops, sweeping and mopping, etc. All chores should be on a schedule so that no area gets too dirty. And everyone should take all belongings with them before going to bed each night. That will leave the common areas tidy for the next day
But still…they are just kids. They prob do more work and babysitting than most kids their age already. They did not ask to come into this world. That was your decision just like continuing to have babies was your decision. Ultimately the house is YOUR responsibility bc YOU are the adults. Remember that eventually they will be leaving the nest to start their own lives soon. Who’s gonna clean up then? I just think you MIGHT be a little ungrateful and slightly unrealistic.

I sat here and read some of the comments that was left define I’m 56 years old. I have three daughters that are grown first of all. I want to establish that she is raising African American children. She wants them to be well rounded in society she’s raising them up to be nurturers Along with court contributors I don’t know who are is black or white in this chat but what I can’t say is black women or black household raise our children differently then white American y’all have criticize her and talk about what is a mothers duties and she is doing a fine job, her and her husband somebody criticize him for not being the head of the house or the boss of the house And they said in other videos that they both have a role and both contribute to that role he cosigned and agreed with what she said they have woken us into their home and they are showing us what they do for their house. You can’t criticize people what they choose to do in their house. We don’t see what you’re doing in your house, I’m like her everything in my house has a place and if something is out of place it makes me feel like it’s clutter. I think they’re doing a terrific job and awesome job and I do agree that when you’re 15 1617 years old and you are the one using the toaster and no one else in the house is, you’re supposed to clean up the crops I was raised that you cook and clean at the same time and that is what they are teaching their children you cook and clean at the same time you don’t leave a kitchen, chaotic and go wherever and finish eating and bring the dishes, that’s weird you could’ve cooked and clean at the same time or when you wash dishes and you put the dishes away you’re supposed to wipe down the countertops and the stove Thank you for welcoming us into your house. Thank you for teaching your son how to cook so when he has a partner they can both contribute to the household. Thank you for teaching your children that if something happens to you guys, you know that they’re going to be close that they’re going to be there and be able to support one another you’re doing a fine job and thank you so very much for letting us into your home

I'm loving your content. My little acts like I'm horrid when I need and demand organization and structure, he's a bonus from parents that chose not to take care of him, I also have a husband who was hit head on 2 years ago and now has to be in a wheelchair. The Lord has intrusted me with a lot, and I'm trying to see it through.
I’m a Virgo too , yes I liked my house in order but my children had very few chores because I wanted them to enjoy childhood too…I’m for chores because it teaches them to be responsible, but not over work them I always felt it was more my job and I worked outside the home as well…(night shift so I could sleep while they were at school and my husband at work) I helped in the garden..helped my husband mow….canned food …I took baths when my kids were at school,because I didn’t want to think of ‘myself ‘when they were home. I would never let a child cry itself to sleep on the floor because,I wanted “me” time. Nor worry about fixing my hair and neglect my crying child ,that probably just needed attention time with mom…playing a game with my children or holding them in my lap when they were sleepy …it’s security …so many balances they need . ‘Hugs’ to them make them feel secure(I learned that in the college classes on Child development…and applied it )if they don’t have balance of love along with chores or discipline , then the child will be unhappy (they will be obedient but deprived of feeling loved in the process)
…if a child sees a parent praising the Lord then using corrupt words (Ephesians 4:29)( , they see them as hypocrites and most likely rebel when of age to leave. And children know if love is fake it for ‘show’. I think SHOWING love in hugs …sitting on laps helps a child more than chores.(but again chores definitely teaches responsibilities…just make sure to hug them as well) showing love helps them to be strong mentally. I saw a child one time cry itself to sleep …hours causing anxiety to the child) that only causes mental problems with the child, I went into the room picked her up and kissed her forehead and sang a song & rocked her and she went to sleep in 2 minutes . She felt loved. It doesn’t take long to rock your baby to sleep. This parent that let her child scream for hours did not instill love in her child. She became aggressive later.(venting the frustrations developed I guess)
All these commenters saying don’t say anything negative…I was glad when older people pointed out my wrong…it’s called maturity. Older people saw in their generation what worked & didn’t ….when their friends children were grown..they saw the outcome. I was told many times what would happen when the child was grown . I’m thankful for someone brave enough to tell me. We all want loving children. It takes a EQUALLY BALANCE of love with discipline or it’s chaos.
So get with elderly people and see their views on things to learn their wisdom . If you only hear “You’re doing great”…then you can’t better yourself.
Be a Role model too, my mom was extremely strict but balanced everything, she would tell us…don’t smoke…don’t show your hind end…then SHOWED us “she didn’t do it either” that’s a role model that knows how to balance it all equally. My Christian children are wonderful now thanks to others telling me I’m doing something wrong..so I changed when I saw they were right. My grandkids are precious children they got an equal balance of love & discipline…remember little eyes are watching mom and dad and making decisions.

I disagree. Only posting the butterflies and rainbows is part of what makes social media toxic and unrealistic. Yes they had to give the kids a strong talking to but everyone was right back to laughing and playing and praising God minutes later. It’s all part of life. And it’s helpful for people to see before they start comparing themselves against unrealistic standards, thinking our kids are so bad or we’re so bad parents for disciplining our kids, etc. I appreciate the transparency, it’s refreshing

Unfortunately, this is the Mother's frustration of keeping control & direction in her household & finding crumbs which can cause ants, roaches & mice! All of this comes with having many children. I do believe laila is going to be their real problem child. Even husband is getting some of the frustration, that to is normal. She is tired this day and can't seem to ignore or hide it. They know the love is there.
She is doing fine.if people feel annoyed by her calling her Kidz to order,they mustn't watch.rather than commenting negative.those many Kidz are theirs and they can do whatever in their power to reprimand them
I feel bad for the elder children. Pure chaos. Having to be in school all day, keep up with homework, keep good grades, take care of the younger children on top of their individual chores and crying babies in their ears as soon as they reach the front door. My God and more and more children are being added on. To me the mother just seems upset period...more than just some crumbs.
Plus the kids do the yardwork
She's from New York, not a morning person, & a Virgo so give her a break, but she & her husband are teaching them like my mom taught me, 1st the fear of God, love, respect, organization, structure, discipline, & chores so they are functioning, responsible, respectful adults that later know how to take care of things and themselves, that won't b selfish, lazy, inconsiderate, inconsistent, spoiled, & narcissistic like most kids these days thinking the world owe them something and they have to do nothing...mind you most parents who don't make there kids do chores are the same parents complaining later that there kids are disrespectful, talking back, stealing from them, out of control, back & forth in the juvenile, spoiled, lazy, unclean & won't pick up a finger to do a chore or help with a sibling the few times needed, irresponsible, dont take care of their things or many things in the house that are constantly being bought for this very reason like Jordans, the appliances, furniture, tvs...it's not all about playing, your slippers should b upstairs where you are so it won't b a thousand shoes at the door, save time so you won't b looking for your shoes when u get out of bed, teaches you to take care of your things, b responsible...Crumbs on the counter should be cleaned up afterwards especially because they eat toast & the mom doesn't & this way when u get older you'll clean up after yourself and won't leave your dirty panties on the floor and your college roommate has a problem with you...I'm looking at the fruit and the kids are happy so there doing a very good job!!! Kids need correction it's ok to give them things with structure and actually correct and parent, not friending with no correction which equals the real chaos.
Please and please again if we do not have anything encouraging or motivating to share his family let’s keep our negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions, ideas and experiences to ourselves. Thank you thank you very much.
