  • This video demonstrates anterior elbow joint structures in a short-axis view. It highlights a very easy mnemonic, the 3-2-1-1 rule. ‘3’ stands for three muscles lateral to medial: brachioradialis, brachialis muscle, and pronator teres muscle. ‘2’ represents the two nerves, the radial nerve and the medial nerve. ‘1’ signifies the one tendon, the distal biceps tendon, and another ‘1’ for the artery, which is the brachial artery.”
