Why farm the seaweed when countries like the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Ecuador have tons of it ending up on their beaches that they want to get rid of. Just relocate the production to these countries.

Might there be a home/farm setup to process biogas?

As long as they don't do another caulerpa disaster... Or they could pull up all the caulerpa and turn that into bio fuel. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caulerpa_taxifolia

What's clean about burning methane ?

Julius Bell it’s cleaner than coal and the seaweed is renewable. But your right it’s still producing greenhouse gases and so isn’t really a clean source of energy

+Esolomoso It is a clean source of energy, algae are algea. So they absorb a lot-lot-lot of C02 to grow (and create a lot of pure oxygen).

i would gladly see the world be on methane from biomass rather than petrol/diesel from the ground...
