They were my favourite band from 2001/02 till he was convicted. I even went to see them live in 07, they genuinely are one of the greatest live performance’s and I’ve been lucky enough to see most of the greats of that generation, taking back Sunday, good Charlotte, fall out boy, my chemical romance and many more. They really were the greatest live performance and the most amazing fans. It’s so devastating that he destroyed it all. He had a million legal 16 year olds willing to bang him, they would scout the towns he was playing in to try to “accidentally bump into him” hoping for a chance. I don’t think I’ll ever understand why he did what he did. I was listening to their music while going through my own abuse. It saved my life and got me through it. Then he got exposed while I was going through my own case against my own abuser. While I was listening to their music to get me through. Yea I’ve never been so devastated by anyone I didn’t even know. It was a devastating betrayal. Everyone knew how much I loved them and I got so many calls making sure I was okay. It stopped me loving music for years. I just stopped listening to everyone and everything. It totally burst my bubble. I occasionally play the odd song by them and miss the happy days. Honestly I wish that the other lads had carried on and replaced him, rather than just starting new projects. By doing that they essentially just gave all thoughts of the lostprophets to Ian. I wish they had at least done a song without him featuring a different singer. They just threw it all away. I wanted them to say hey we’re a band. Not just him. I pray 🙏 that one day they’ll play the old songs again without Ian but after they just abandoned everything they missed their chance to distance themselves and the band from him and his crimes.

I would love to see lostprophets make music again with the other members, I would love to hear these songs again, but we need to be honest, it will never happen :(
Omg back then every band in Asia copied them you can hear the influence in Dear Jane and Coldrain, very lostprophets inspired from the sound to the image😂
