    First time I've heard Rob express himself and I can see a wisdom beyond his years. No wonder Stan Lee hyped this guy up. I love how his motivation is for the kids.

    Nice to see Matt Damon branching out. Is there no end to his talent?
    I don't think John Byrne is a fan of this guy's work, according to an interview in the recent Modern Masters series of books.

    Nobody can draw while driving like Rob Liefield.

    I'm glad Stan "The Man" Lee was very open-minded with how Mr. Liefeld draws. Yeah I don't like how lazy he draws his characters but he definitely made a name for himself.

    Die Hard is a character Rob would later use in his IMAGE series YoungBloods.
    I wonder if this is where he was first drawn up.
    Kinda surreal to see an actual published character being created for the first time.

      Absolutely, for the most part I love his art, he just has a tendency to be really sloppy sometimes.

    I can definitely see this being true when this interview was filmed. (I'm guessing mid to late 90's?) Now there's many more avenues for artists to make money and a lot of the current work is nowhere near as it was back then. Some practically look like doodles

      @ZaqueHunzahua i don't entirely agree with you on this one..I'm not sure about the 80's though but Jim Lee defined the visuals of the 90's that's for sure.. X-men:1 is proof of that..but thank you for responding..I respect your opinion.

    Cool, actual drawing.
    What's the grade of the graphite Rob uses? 3H?
    Also what model of technical pen and brand does Ron use? Is it the Staedler ISO or the non-ISO?
    God bless, Rev. 21:4

      Ken Galeano exactly. You don’t have to be an artist to criticize. However, the people criticizing are being losers and assholes just to be losers and assholes with no better way to spend their time

      I mean say what you want, even if his drawings may not be anatomically correct, they look cool. Just look at Picasso. If we go anatomy wise then he'd be termed the worst artist ever. Many would be too. Art isnt specific.

    • @TheLongBallofTheLaw
      @TheLongBallofTheLaw Год назад +1

      @adityawankhede7260 Picasso understood drawing fundamentals and used that understanding to develop cubism. Rob Liefeld simply doesn't have a grasp of the fundamentals and his work is riddled with mistakes.
