This pen is unique with respect to its shape and “purse like” sleeve ! I paid $150 for M200 Pastel Green Special edition. Even though it is really a very good writer, $150 isn’t a justifiable price for it in my opinion. I switched to buying 14K/18K Used and Vintage pens at more reasonable prices then after !
I think one of the value points about F-C pens are the nibs. I have several of their pens and a few extra nibs that they always take care to tune to perfection before shipping. Until this last month, my FC 20 in antique green was my favorite (topping my 31 Purpura) until I finally got my 02 in antique glass/cathedral (waited forever!) in EF. It's terrific!
Custom grind by Nagahara is a great purchase. Being a small business, they charge a slightly higher price and they know their audience. BTW, what's the import tariff in SGP?
@@WrexelsWorld thank you. Quite reasonable. Here in Thailand, it's around 17 percent plus an additional duty handling fee. Very easily, the total fees would be around 20 percent of the cost. Shipping costs are extra to this total. 😏 Quite expensive to import anything related to fountain pens.
Great pen. Lighter background, please.
Franklin Christoph is the best place I know to explore custom grinds and artisanal design/production values.

Great pens. Love FC pens!

Thanks for the comment, personally the 02 and the 31, maybe the 03 are my favorites purely because of the size.
I really like this grind.. I have a model 31 with it. I love the SIG M nib as well.
Many thanks, I was considering the Model 31 and also the SIG grind as well. It took me a while to get used to the sharpness of the CI nib though!
Great review!!! I’ve been thinking about getting a FC for awhile and now I’m going to pull the trigger!
Thanks! I think they are a very good choice for custom nib work at a decent price point.
