Modifying trailer to fit 2 ATV's

    The wheelers would not fit and I'm too old to pull them sideways so today I fixed that issue!

    There is another issue. That top frame typically provides part of the trailers structural integrity. You may want to consider taking it to a welding shop and have some steel welded on under that section to strengthen it up.
    Mine has an extra layer of angle iron there to stiffen up where the rail section is removable.

      This brand trailer actually makes one with the removal side, I went to the manufacturer and looked at that model before cutting just to make sure. It would be cool if my ramps went under like yours do tho!

    I have a 6x12 atv trailer. That section you removed is actually removable on mine and there are a set of ramps in a hanger rack under the trailer.

      It was a paint primer, there are better primers for sure that’s just all I had at the house. Instead of a wood side a few days later I went to the company who built the trailer and got 1.5”x 1.5” square stock which is what they used to build the rails and I fastened it on the side using pins. Just wanted some added protection incase the wheeler rolls or something.
