I once heard someone say theyd rather pay for an arbnb or hotel than the 7k-9k the GFC costs....50 nights in a year and youre already making it worth it! I need to get camping lol

Haha my friend and I were calculating just how many nights one would need to spend in the GFC to "pay it off" in hotel stays. Nowadays, some hotels are costing 200-300+ per night! The GFC camper has come in clutch for many of those 50+ nights.

Really like your video . Yes when GFC redesigns the door/windows on the topper, then I will look into getting one . Thanks

      Appreciate the comment and watch!
There are rumors circulating that GFC is currently prototyping something new. Can't confirm these as they are just exactly that "he said, she said", but it has me stoked for what is possibly to come!

You may have heard, starting in December 23, GFC added a “storm shield” to the mesh door. This is about 8 inches of additional canvas to keep snow and rain out. This also means the interior of the tent received pockets all around.
Not sure if that’s the upgrade you’re looking for or not

Love the videos man! Would love to see a video on how you have your solar setup on the GFC, cause my GFC should be delivered late October, and was looking at ways to set it up. Again love the videos please keep them coming 🇺🇲

Thanks for the idea! My plan was to cover the electrical system/solar set up here soon.

Would love a video on how you fit your diesel heater in the apache case. Also how do you get out of the camper at night if you're sleeping with someone with the hest mattress in there? I tried an exped mega mat duo and it was a pain to fold it up and get out through the panels.

Look up "keegan builds diesel heater" on RUclips and you should see a video doing a complete walk through. I did also buy his 3d printed diesel heater parts. It's super easy with his parts and video!
I will be doing a fit guide for Hest actually but it's fairly easy still. Unlike the megamat, the hest actually "flexes" more so lifting one side and crawling out is fairly easy. I also push the hest all the way down so I have 12 inches of extra/free space towards our heads.

I love my Ecoflow Delta 2, but I’ve been having issues with my River 2, and Ecoflow’s customer service has been horrible. I’ve been having issues with it for about 5 months now with no resolution. Now the units display and AC ports no longer turn on, and it won’t connect to the app. I’ve been wanting to purchase the extra battery for the Delta 2, but this experience with customer support is making me second guess that.

      That's unfortunate!
Did you get the river 2 as a packaged set with the Delta 2? I almost purchased the older model from Costco but heard the life of the Delta 1s were much less (only 500 cycles compared to 3000) and that steered me away even though Costco will take back basically anything.
I will be curious to see how the delta 2 performs in the Montana winter and once I start using it to power the diesel heater in colder temps.

And on another subject, while not glamorous, do you carry a porta potty or something similar? What is your setup?

Can you charge the eco flow whole you drive? In the ac outlet or dc?

    • @hunter_pauley
      @hunter_pauley  6 месяцев назад +1

You can not with the Toyota inverters. The power is different wave length and the ecoflow just clicks but doesn’t charge. People often do a dc to dc charger to charge it at 400w.

Do you have a build spec on that platform in the bed?

I don’t have exact measurements if thats what you’re searching for.
It’s essentially a piece of plywood with some 2x4 supports underneath with a front ground foot for support. I slide a box/bag under each side. Great spot to sit or lean against when in the back
