I love the remake. Hope you do more Tekken 2 TAS. Pretty much the only Tekken game I had for 20+ years until I got Tekken 3 last year. Loved the Bruce TAS and REALLY loved the Lei Tekken 2 TAS you did last year and I'm hoping for a Yoshimitsu TAS or a Armor King TAS.

What blows my mind is all of these moves are in T7 as well. I thought they added most of the moves in the later games but nope, all of the moves were there from the start

Because unblockable hits are meant to be telegraphed and should be easy to avoid. A move can’t be called cheap or broken if you are given the biggest hint that an unblockable is winding up. Hence the announcer and special effects for the move.
Damage back then in the earlier tekken 1, 2, and 3 was whack, especially if you countered a big attack. Though the toss-up throw damage is peculiarly heavy. They toned it down in later tekkens.
TAS(Tool-Assisted Speedrun also Tool-Assisted Superplay). It program uses emulators to clear games quickly. It's a video that shows good results by playing it over and over again. and I recorded by him. Depending on good the tools are he could slow down or go frame by frame and record an input. When something doesn't go his way he can reload into a previous state as many times as he needs to get the results he wants. Which can take many many redos. In the end this video is the result.

Grew up to all Tekken games since I was 6, I've literally seen this ending as a kid, and being 25; I still hold those chills ever since. Poor Jack :(

T2 is much slower than this one on video. I guess guess 59-60 fps faster version
