This was really cool! Especially the ozark trail one and the surge one. The multitools from all these companies have so much of unnecessary stuff and so little of the useful stuff. It's so frustrating to choose a multitool as a buyer.
Leatherman should really see this and hire you. I myself so many major things that I'd like to change/implement on a multitool.

Thank you for this. I almost bought the Gerber Armbar, but was put off by the reviews.
What I really want is a knife blade, a bit driver, and scissors. That Ozark Trail Multiforce mod checks all the boxes, adds a few extra tools, and all the tools lock. I'm just going to have a hard time deciding between the saw and the file...

Picked up my multi force about 2 months ago.. it's not 100 percent of what I need, but for 40 bucks I love it. I'm working on customizing it. I want to swap the saw for a t shank adapter, which would give me a metal saw, wood saw, and diamond file to swap out on the fly as needed.. and probably the file for a scalpel blade just for extra fine work. I'm also considering ditching the 1/4" driver for more tools. An Awl, a mag lens, and some others.. then I plan on making an adapter for the flat head to a 1/4". Finally I want to replace the plier heads with actual wave plus plier heads if I can.. but I digress. Maybe one day I will actually spring for a real Wave plus.. but this is a great way to tinker with it. It's not identical.. but close.

I'm a little late to the party, but I've just come across your page recently and have been making my way through the videos. Have you tried this concept yet with the Bibury multitool? I bought one after your review on budget tools and am fairly impressed with it as a light/medium duty tool set. I wouldn't mind trying this out with that instead of boogering up any of my Leathermans. It looks very similar to the Ozark Trail, which is why I'm thinking it might work.
