Thanks for the tip. I used this on my arbor press and it works great. I didn’t have a spring, so i wound my own using music wire I had

i did the mod, works great, i made a small thin pully 30mm diam , so the spring pulls back on the rope more easy with advantage of the bigger diameter(where the rope goes around)

I have two daughters. They like to come in my shop and "work" with dad. Over the years I've named them odd names, sometimes Disney characters, they find that funny and silly. My shop sink is named George Washing-ton 😊.
