bitch you stole my comment lmao
Hahahahaahah
I'm dead
Name three seduction songs? Haha
@@chaseelliott8525 Yeah, You can't name them, and can't nobody else either.
Michelle Visage should've won the "Madonna Challenge" in Season 8 😂😂😂
Septiplier Away cryin
She won a Madonna lookalike contest at age 16. That's how she got started.
And the Madonna Rusical in season 12 😂
Anyone ever notice that Madonna looked just like Meesh in the Power of Goodbye video? Just sayin'.
Season 12
michelle looks more like Madonna than Madonna looked like Madonna
Adam Chaplin she sure sang better than Madonna, that’s for sure.
....That's why Madonna sued her...LOL!
I was immediately thinking this is very Madonna, and it's interesting because I know that she is Michelle's idol.
Adam Chaplin that's why the sued her
How else do you think anyone noticed her. They were like oh it's Madonna, shit no it ain't.
michelle visage, shantay you stay. you may join the other girls
I KNOW thaasssss right!
Madonna should have won the michelle visage challenge .
MARILYN MONHOE yasss
MARILYN MONHOE LOVE IT
Lol!
Michelle looked more like madonna than venus d'lite with all that face work.
HMRLTL that is because Madonna stole Michelle looks.
Larry Yelder lol wtf you can just go home right there. Sashay away
they didn't lie though madonna did jack her look
I mean it helps that Michelle was Madonna's inspiration. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
no wonder Madonna was hating on our miss Michelle, Michelle looked so good
+Violet Sorenson But michelle's vogue mooves remind me of madonna's ones the following year in the vogue video so they're even lol! ;)
+Violet Sorenson I never knew how influential Michelle Visage was. Her vocals here and on It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day where way ahead of their time.
Why did u make stuff up
Michelle was voguing before Madonna
The fact that Madonna got inspired of voguing after Michelle did it first, and then Michelle still being a fan of Madonna to this day... Madonna should be in good terms with Michelle by now.
Rupaul should do a Michelle Visage runway look on drag race
Please
For real
He should but it would wind up being a Madonna runway look because that who she looked like back then. She won a Madonna look-a-like contest when she was 16.
I would pay top dollar to see someone wear green on that runway for that category
Ben De la Cream did on season 6
I was a kid in NYC during the Freestyle era. Seduction’s music was all over the place. Michelle certainly has an enduring career. Love her on Drag Race! ❤️
90% is here for Michelle.
don't ask don't pastel accurate lol
98%
Yup
100% we're here for beyonce not kelly and "michelle" haha
@@strugglingstudent323 wow, that was terrible
i'm here for Michelle
For those of you who think Madonna introduced the Vogue-ing craze to the New York clubs via her very-late-to-the-party single and video, it should be noted that David Cole & Robert Clivillés had their fingers on the pulse of New York dance culture FAR earlier than Madonna's handlers, and injected their ingenue group Seduction's music not only with club-release-only house appeal records initially, but also the visuals to support it, once the project began to gain chart success. This is one reason why "vogue-ing" dancers are featured on Seduction's video for "Two to Make It Right." Released as a single in late 1989, "Two to Make It Right" reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the USA in February 1990.
Madonna's "Vogue" was lensed in February of 1990, many months after Seduction's vogue-ing dancers were filmed for the former video, and was released on March 27, 1990, a number of months after Seduction's video, containing "vogue-ing."
Sorry, Madonna. Seduction and C+C were more cutting-edge.
This song was played on the radio so much in 1990 into 1991 that the song brings me back to a era when music was really good, because I honestly can’t imagine a lot of music today will stand the test of time!
It came out in 1989!
I personally think a lot (not all) music of today will age like fine wine bahahaha xD No matter the era there will always be good and bad music. For me, when I look back on my high school experience in the early to mid 2010’s I remember a lot of great music that gives me nostalgia now. I know for certain that when I’m 41 and hear any vaporwave classics & playlists, any classic Lana Del Rey, any Grimes, any Nite Jewel, John Maus, Geneva Jacuzzi, Paramore, Wild Nothing, Allah-Las, Iron & Wine, Jack & Eliza, Mac Demarco or Craft Spells, a flower crown will grow out my noggin and I’ll automatically feel like I’m back in those moments of carefreeness again lmfao.
@@mikekaraoke But it was still on the charts and being played tremendously… in the early 90s. 🙄
@@n.b.2729 Never heard it in my life. Back then I only heard Nirvana, Guns N' Roses and Madonna, Roxette, Paula Abdul, those pop artists. But I guess they were popular in the US.
Omg, I used to listen to this song all the time as a kid!! I came from wanting to know more about Michelle Visage's roots and it turns out I knew it all along!
Michelle's roots are grey lol
Please bring the 80s back. Ladies had style and the music was elite of all decades
Some really awesome shots of the World Trade Centre in the background. Always makes me smile to see the towers standing there in all their glory : )
Detox's lipsync was the cutest thing ever, especially when she busted out the old school moves
Had to look up this amusing trivia after it was mentioned on Drag Race lol - it's especially amusing since Madonna borrowed her looks from Marilyn Monroe and then bullied another singer! "Madonna filed a cease and desist against the group SEDUCTION, claiming that lead singer Michelle Visage was deliberately copying her EXPRESS YOURSELF look. The group was having major chart success at the time, and Madonna's order helped hinder the group, as they had to drastically change their look. Michelle claimed her look had nothing to do with Madonna's, but apparently she was the only one who was allowed to have short blond permed hair.
(Visage was also Vogueing in her videos before Madonna)
Visage also claims Madonna's manager phoned the group to personally tell them that if Visage was going to copy Madonna, then she should at least do a halfway decent job."
What? How can Michelle be a Madonna fan after that..?
Nevan She was such a big fan she was just flattered to be recognized by Madonna.
in the video for express yourself which visage copied Madonna, Madonna was not chanelling Monroe but Jean Harlow.
Cade Buchanan the shade of it all OMG
Cade Buchanan I can totally believe that. Madonna is a very insecure bitch
Seduction, aka "Michelle Visage and Two Others."
Wasn't Idalis in this group also? She was a highly visible MTV VJ for years.
Oh hell no it isn't! Not by me, nor anyone else who cares! Maybe by people only interested in drag queens, sure. But my experience pre-dates that bullshit by decades, and I know who each of these beautiful women are.
@@Tre404 ABSOLUTELY SO TRUE
only a gay guy would hate on idalis.
no offense....
bitch thats shady :DD XDD
This is literally the best quality and clearest video I have ever seen of Seduction in my life. Thank You for uploading
OMG Michelle Visage is sooooo beautiful. HOT BLONDE
+李沛珊 you too my cat =^..^=
where is Detox
You mean Michelle Visage...
"Where the fuck is detox?"
Kian McFarlane loo
Wes Graham:
She had it, officially!!!! 😂
Probably at the surgeon
Visage serving Madonna realness
patric tavares Madonna serving mama visage realness....
Absolutely love this group one of the best groups from the 80s it's just too bad that didn't make a second album I bet you would have been just as big of a hit I love you seduction you reminded me so much of expose
Oh my god, I remember this song! Haven't thought about it in so long. This was definitely one of my jams.
Oh shit, I seriously forgot Michelle did these lead vocals. She has amazing soul in her voice!
I think it was April
I haven't heard this song in so many years. Brings back so many memories. I had just gotten my driver's license and was burning up the streets in my dad's old Ford truck not a care in the world! Miss those days so much!
I heard this in the Dahmer Monster series on Netflix...Never have I ever loved to hear this song again, (in which I haven't heard since I was 17 when it came out...)
In such a dark, creepy, horrid series.
Ha, same here! I've heard it several times over the decades since it launched, but still crazy to hear this hit featured on such a creepy series, right? At least they got the music played in gay clubs pretty down pat and authentic. I am of that generation; so I should know. : ) Lots of freestyle, house dance pretty prominent in the black gay club scene back in the day.
I love at 3:38 where the blonde chic gets hit by the swing and then she plays off the surprise with this big cheesy grin. I have always love that part. Weird, I know lol.
The blonde is Michelle Visage from RuPaul's Drag Race!!
Lahman Ewell I knew that I had seen her somewhere before. Thanks!
scrapper94 she looks so different from then I guess we all change as we get older
You weirdo!! Haha me too! My fav part 2 ! Haha
Aaaah, the Good Ole Days---Everytime I see a video with the World Trade in the background(and a good, hot song like this one to go with it) I always say , "Those were the GOOD DAYS!!"
I love the moment in 3:39
I can't believe they didn't edit that out!
Lol
David David IKR!!
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stu Sleppin You are the man for directing such a funky music video!!!
Michele Visage vogued before Madonna. WHY? Because she learned it from the vogueing at the balls and the clubs of the time. Madonna acted like she invented vogueing. Watch "Paris is Burning" and you'll see it's a crock of shit that Madonna came up with it.
Ida Dudenmanner . Most people know Madonna didn't invent voguing.
She has never claimed she invented it. In fact several of the dancers on the Blond Ambition tour were well known in the ball scene. Do some research.
madonna never pretended she invented voguing. Jody watley was voguing before Madonna and so was Janet Jackson in alright.
It wasn't Madonna claiming that she invented vogueing, but the media portraying her as that due to the immense success of the Vogue video.
she never said she invented vogueing, she just brought it to the mainstream
The shot of the 2 kids hugging in the sandbox at 4:18 is somehow making me so emotional lol. Such good vibes
*"It takes glue to join two pieces tight,*
*Add some glue and dry it overnight"*
What??!! LMAO 🤣
😂😂
Love it!! Ha, ha!
Wow! I had no clue Michele visage sang this song, I remember turning the radio up when this song came on but I guess I never knew who sang it? Lol great song girls always this is the 90’s! ♥️♥️♥️
Their #2 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from early 1990 (released in late 1989) and #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Party chart. Before Michelle Visage was a "RuPaul's Drag Race" judge, she was a Madonna lookalike. 🙂
I miss music like this. Love this song. Still listening in 2018
I have 12"s of this style...80s Freestyle, with Pebbles, Company B, Cover Girls, Sweet Sensation....so much fun to play. Mixing it up with 702, Dream, 3LW, etc...
This was 25 years ago now! Where has the time gone!
Classic 1990 i miss the 90's.
In her book Michelle talks about how she supposedly vogued on stage at a certain party that Madonna attended, then months later Madonna released Vogue and had a look similar to Micheles that night. I wouldn't doubt that since Madonna has been copying everybody since she started lol (no shade I love M)
Sebastian Gaspar that is just utter bullshit. Madonna watched Paris is burning and recruited two dancers from the scene to help her choreograph the video. Her look was based on dick Tracy which was shot in 1989. She also showcased the vogue movements in 1989 at the mtv video awards. She had this look in express yourself at least do your research.
Agreed. I was a huge Seduction fan in high school and I remember when all that shit went down. Madonna was threatened by Visage, and damn straight she should have been, bitch was flawless. Still is.
coffycup75 it doesn’t really matter what you think....it’s bullshit what you think.madonna at that time had influenced a whole genre Taino of pop stars., musically and visually...it seems a strange thing to do alright but if they are over it you should be too
gerry owen Someone's a bit salty
Hamiltrash c: eh who....the bitches on this thread
Michelle's got that Madonna realness going on
I think she once won a Madonna look-alike contest, lol.
Chloe Reisman Yes, she did win a Madonna look-alike contest back in the 80's. Michelle also claims that Madonna's lawyers sent her a cease and desist for "copying" her image and look as well. They all look a lot like Madonna/Niki Haris/Donna DeLory (her backup singers in those days) in the late 80's in this video, so I could see that happening. There's also a video with Michelle voguing in an NYC club in 1988 or 1989, right before Madonna made her hit song in 1990.
I wish I was old enough to have clubbed in the late 80's/early 90's in NYC.
assaultislove It is from 1988 so why not?
Team AdoreDelaRio I was a little child back then, couldn't get into clubs, lol
Was fun!!! Fridays, Saturday nights and even other nights. City was always alive.
assaultislove I bet it was life changing. Lololol. I was to young as well.
It was very fun! The music just awesome
1989...wore this out doing boot camp floor work crunches and wore it out dancing to it in the clubs!!!!!!!! LORD JESUS YES!
it hits hard to think that in my elementary school days i was jamming to michelle's voice/vocals i love her voice
I love Seduction so freaking much. I remember back in the late 80's/early 90's Seduction & Sweet Sensation were my absolutely favourite girl groups.
Luv dis! was obsessed with the legendary Michelle Visage 1 of the judges on RuPauls Drag Race cuz she looked like Madonna!?!?!..
DAHMER Brought me here...😂😂 Damn it has been decades since last hearing this and it was a Dope Ass Song when it came out back then in the good Ole days growing up in "Brick City"
That series brought me here too...."I was like Damn, they really dug in the crates and wondering why we never hear this when they play old school tracks....and I currently live in North Newark by Branch brook park. ..Brick City 4 life
man does this take me back. simpler times, so much more fun.
Fantastic song. It sounds like a 90s version of the Supremes.
You mean 80's version
@Floptina You have just proved my point, 1989 has an 8 at the start so is the 80's 😂
@Floptina Yea we round up on the 1st of Jan 1990
Song was released just one month before the end of the 80s decade. It didn’t reach its peak #2 position until 1990, and is listed on Billboard’s Year End Chart for 1990
The good ol' days I miss the 80s and 90s yes 2019??
F***k Yeah!!!!!-
Michelle Visage! I mean all 3 all gorgeous. I miss this right here! Give it up for C&C Music Factory. Even in 2023 this is a banger!
Can't believe I am watching this in 2020 I mean where's everyone.
Great memories...and to think one of the guys who made this video posted this. Thanks Mr. Stu Sleppin. What a combination these girls were plus the music.
A perfect little pop gem! Love it and Miss Visage.
WHERE is the “think I better dance now” breakdown? That was in the audio of the original video… disappointing
:-(
Thank you for preserving this C&C classic
I remember this song on the radio when I was a child in the late 1980s and 1990s! Awesome, thanks for posting. :)
Miss the early 90s
Man I loved this song when it came out back in the day!
I forgot all about this one....and somehow came across it here and forgot I was obsessed with it when it was out
Oh my gosh! I have not thought about Seduction in years! Thanks to Michele and Leah taking over for windy, I would never have remembered this song… It’s so good!
I don't know why but this was one of those songs that I remembered very well even though they never do this song these days on the radio (or anywhere for that matter!)! This was one of the very small handful of music videos from 1990 that I had before this new year came along. I remembered this song was competing with both Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" and Janet Jackson's "Escapade" for #1! I can still remember hearing the voice of Casey Kasem announcing that this song had just moved up to #2! There were a plethora of really good girl groups throughout the early '90s that came out with really solid good pop dance songs and Seduction was definitely one of them! I had never seen the music video ever before until I saw it here on RUclips and it became one of my earliest RUclips experiences back in 2007. This song definitely takes me back in a good way in more ways than one! Definitely miss all those early '90s girl groups - wish they'd make a comeback! :-) #SEDUCTIONTWOTOMAKEITRIGHT
OMG, I used to love this song............Realness....Go Michelle! Head-bop, head-bop! I know together we can really turn this mother out! 1+1= me & u! Ahhh, Ah, aHh. lol...My mom had a pair of those bike shorts..
Love Michelle Visage and this song, started to listen to her when the New KTU started their morning show with RuPaul and she's still with RuPaul for Drag Race on Logo. love her
Was such a big fan of theirs as a teen back in the 90s. They were all so beautiful 😍😍😍✨✨✨
Grew up listening to this from my 80s mom now one of these girls is a judge on my favorite show. we are all so connected
the music I loved when I was seventeen ..
So THIS is who Michelle Visage is.... knowing she was in a girl group just made me love her 100x more
Three Seduction songs: Two To Make It Right. Heartbeat. (You're My One And Only) True Love.
Loved them then and still love them now.
I love this song me and my hubby was listening to this song last night and had fun sing it too lol Thankful you baby for having me remind me of this song and now I have it in my head lol
Early vogue-ing!! 💋
my man david cole from cole, clivilles (c+c) produced this jam! sooo talented and gone sooo soon! rest in peace my dude!
Idalis DeLeón... Swoon! This joint is funky as hell! Great job Stu!
I LOVE HER!!! I had no idea she was in this group!!!!
Thank you so much!!!! One of my favorites!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! You made my night!!!!
One of my all time favorite songs.
You can tell Madonna has always been a big part of Michelle’s life I love that
Did NOT know judge Michelle from Ru's Drag Race from anything until finally started watching the show last week (late to the show, I know!) & seeing a lip sync off to "Seduction featuring Michelle Visage...". Then my jaw dropped when I realized I know that group from growing up & had NO idea that blonde girl that looks like a Madonna ringer (that is the biggest compliment I can give on looks, TRUST) is the SAME lady judge w/ 'tude, the loud "cackle" laugh & black hair sitting next to RuPaul! >:0 Girl can SANG AND Dance! Super excited now to see what else she's done since being in Seduction. Always loved this song & the girls' voices, seeing the fashions & dancing, now, including Vogue'ing from the good 'ol days is super nostalgic fun. LOVE! Thank you for the upload!
Happy birthday Michelle 🎂❤❤❤
I sooooooooooooooo love this song!!!!!! It makes me sing along and dance to it... I still listen to it instead of the crap music nowadays!!!! 2019 Maech.
michelle snatch gamed madonna in this video but did madonna better than madonna
milk queen Michelle was doing the blonde and vouging combo before madonna
Please eat some Soup she idolizing Madonna and clearly copied her sit down
gerry owen But it was true tho... Visage was voguing earlier than Madge because she IS and was a product of underground Vogue balls and also the gay scene back then.. About the looks, sure it might seem fishy that Visage was a "super fan" but she had inspiration from those blondes who came before Madge such as Marilyn Monroe etc etc
Hamiltrash c: oh come on....you can see the videos that came after Madonna videos and looks....it doesn’t matter now anyway visage is a superfan as was I so we are not bothered...
Love this soooo much! I have the best memories!!!
Damn.
*Chills*
I think I just melted in my seat.
Ive never seen the video.. just the song. This.. DAMN, fills the GAP between and . Man.. this stuff is just good.
THIS.. is like eating a MCDs burger n fries.. 20+yrs ago and just enjoying it. No purple stuff. No political bs. No food quality bs. Just MCDs. Playplace, MCDs and dats it.
The new Dahmer series brought me here.
Cole & Clivilles were great producers!
Seduction now and forever, greetings from colombia.
One of the most underrated songs ever. Even with it having the same lyrics as another song (the Rob Bass rap hit), the song was just so well-made, which is very rare. They definitely need to play this more and have the girls come back on tour, if possible, with so many others coming back
One of the queens should have done one of these looks for the runway.
The song is actually good
I luv it! It brings back some great memories! 💋✌#GoodTimes
EDM listener. I heard it on the radio and really liked this song
Back here after Drag Race season 11 Ep. 3 mentions the song! 😀😀😀
Am I the only one here that came to this video from watching the "Super Troopers" episode from RPDR Season 5??
Juan Ma Leon I'm here too
I remember listening to this on Hot 97 in the STL back in the day. They played a different version with some dude singing "think i better dance now!" a couple of times throughout the song. Luv Michelle!!!
Been looking for this song for like 10 yrs.....can't believe i found it WOW!
holy cow, the blonde is Michelle Visage??
jimmymastiff yes and she was so stunning!!!!
"Two thangs make a thang go right gurl" --Ms. Vanessa Vanjie 2019
Freestyle dancing was so much fun...just do your thing and have fun.
I have been looking for this song for years!!!
Michelle is flawless
Detox and Coco Montrese lip sync for your life song!!!Michelle Visage is unrecognisable!! :o
sweet. Had the itch to hear this song again and it took a little bit of digging to find it.
Michelle Visage you served Madonna this week and I’m living for it congratulations my dear you are the winner this week.
