Considering this movie inspired the creation of the tournament fighter genre of video games - I would say there's a good possibility this soundtrack provided inspiration to Yuzo Koshiro. Speaking of tournament fighters inspired by this movie: Yuzo Koshiro and his staff had an arcade cabinet of Street Fighter II in their offices and were playing it constantly while working on the 2nd Streets of Rage game. I imagine it's not a stretch to think he was at least familiar with this film as well.
@@djames3704 Yeah Johnny Cage's look was loosely based off Van Damme in this movie. So yeah it's left it's impact even though Van Damme won a razy for worst new actor I believe.
