Most dubs are good it’s just otakus and weebs trash on them because they think “ORIGINAL IS ALWAYS BETTER” when sometimes it really isn’t (good example is dragon ball and pre time skip naruto I couldn’t stand those in Japanese)
@@jamrah8713 honestly Japanese anime sounds weird af too. The only reason it sounds somewhat normal to western audiences is because we're not accustomed to the way actual Japanese people talk. So it only makes sense that when you dub it in English, it will sound weird as well. The whole sub vs dub argument is dumb. The main reason I personally like sub is because there aren't dub changes, which I know are being snuffed out of the industry. So it's just a preference at this point.

Plis don't...I made the mistake of watching it and I'm on eps 58 right now,but I have to finish it since I'm already hooked on the story and know how things turn out but there are so many more animes better than this...it is soooo predicable,no originality and yes asta's voice is hella annoying especially his catchphrase mata mata(no not yet) which he blabbers every now and then...the supporting characters are all so shallow save captain yami...and asta although being an idiot always got some kind of golden advice for anyone who feels down which is highly unrealistic...I also feel like asta is a mash up of natsu and luffy and put it in the lowest quality possible

Honestly prefer the English dub more, and this is coming from a hardcore sub watcher. Idk, when I started watching the sub, Gakuto's voice just didn't do it for me. Nothing against the actor himself, obviously; just from a range of Bakugou to Asta, Bakugou being angry but humorous yelling and Asta being annoying, I'd go with the Bakugou range (basically, deeper yelling).
