This is a GREAT bowling channel! Wow, thanks for this one. All my life I've seen Louie Moore's name in numerous tournaments but never in the top 5. I never knew what he looked like till now! I don't know where these old shows have been kept in storage, but I hope there's lots more, particularly from 78-80.

I was 17 going on 18 at the time, averaging in the 170s. I was short with a high backswing. Steve Neff was one of my idols and I tried emulating his high follow through. Neff at the time was in the fourth year of a five year period where he won at least one PBA title each year, but in 1979 he went into a long slump where he made only one show in four years.I think he left the tour as a full time player after 1983.

I've been wanting to see Louie Moore bowl! I don't think anyone else has ever posted one of his matches! Thanks!

Three Hall of Famers and maybe the GOAT in the "alternate" spot.

    $100,000 in ‘77 would be $522,000 nowadays… Of course that’s the whole tournament…..But..72,000 for the winner… Uffffaaaaaaaaa..That’s some scratch…
