Chris Schenkel and Bo Burton on commentary. Unmatched!
Less than 2 weeks. Can’t wait 🎳
The “IT’S OVER” still makes me laugh 37 years later.
That is such a shame to see a pro give up like that so early in the game. Awesome performance by RP. Always fun to watch.
Here's the strange thing about this: Burton Jr. (announcer) bowled 279 against Holman in 1984. Fast forward 3 years to 1987, Randy Pedersen (future announcer) sees Burton, Jr's 279 & raises him 10 more, for a 289. Before you tie Holman to the whipping post like in the Allman Bros. song, let him go kick the foul light, for old time's sake. When Holman did that, that also, was a doubles match.
PbaBowling, That was an awesome upload of the Pba Nearly Perfect that features the Semi Finals of the 1987 Pba National Championship. Also, Randy Pedersen was the best Bowler and did awesome commentary on the Pba Tour. Also, Randy Pedersen did threw a great shot on the 2nd Ball in the 10th frame. Also, I am looking forward to the 2025 Season on the Pba Tour especially with Randy Pedersen doing the Color Commentary.
Kinda unreal a guy as legendary as Marshall gave up in the 5th frame.
Sometimes you just know your opponent is too good that day to make a mistake.
Yes a bit dissapointing, just goes to show, it happens to the best of them, staus ego gets to them.
Randy Pederson almost 300
A bowler using the same ball all game...and for spares?! Don't see that these days.
better times!
RANDY PETERSON IS NOW A ANOUNCER.
Ohhhh I'm so sorry Randy 😂 289 got you by the 10 pin, good thing it's not an 8 pin!
marshall would win 0 titles to become player of the year in 1987.
9:58 Even the quality of the telecast went cheering on in the audience. 😂🎳
Since March of 2021, “289” has been my highest score so far. I have yet to earn my first 300 soon.
It'll come...and when you least expect it.
