This my friend, is a sick video. Probably the best Brian Dawkins video I've seen. He really is a beast, a warrior, a legend. If only he wasn't as old as he is and could offer what he offered in Denver as he did in Philly. Love you Weapon X
How lucky can us BRONCO fans be to get Dawkins. Its amazing how much love you Philly fans have for him. It really sucks to lose such a huge part of Philly football, but also it is awesome to see the love and admiration you have for him. Much respect to all you Philly fans
i seriously cried hearing that brian dawkins was signed to the broncos. the greatest eagle EVER! and now, he has retired. Still my favorite player of all time, and I have his jersey. may be 2 sizes too big but im keeping it forever. great video and good choice of music
As a Bronco fan I'd like to say thank you for making this video. & may God bless, the best clean, respected, whole-hearted saftey to ever play in the NFL.
i miss you b dawks. everyone misses you. fans, coaches, players. There will never be another brian dawkins, ever. its crazy how much emotion he has for the game
Great Video, it most defiantly ran chills down my spine. Brian Dawkins is an amazing athlete who knows how to play the game. Gotta love the energy he brings to the field.
I've been watching B-Dawk play since I was 9. It was an honor to see him suit up for the birds and lay everything he had out on the field for 13 years. Brian will always be an Eagle.
I cant get over how great this video is. I dont know what instrumental you have here, but it was perfect. I almost got teary eyed at 2:34 when you saw how much he belived in an organization that would later turn their back on him. Someone should make a movie about this guy. Honestly. Thanks for posting this vid.
Im a denver bronco fan and i've always been a fan of dawkins and what he brings to the field. Hes awsome to watch and glad that hes now playing for the broncos.!!
I think that the best thing that has come out of this whole horrible situation is this..the whole NFL community now knows how much we LOVED this man..We truly love him..God Bless you Dawk and your family..Thanks for everything... Forever an Eagle..
I always knew he was the greatest to ever play the game. But it wasn't until he left that i really found out how great he was. it was a true honor to watch him play. hes the only guy i know that makes a tackle and gets a standing ovation. he'll be back. this time it'll be in canton.
how could you even dislike this video give the man his respect!!!! My mans Brian Dawkins put on for his city in Philadelphia every sunday brings tears to my eyes that he is actually gone now
Surely one of the best safeties in the NFL for all of his 13 seasons. Some of the best ball-hawking skills in the league. his passion and intensity was unrivaled. great character. great man. we'll miss you, Love, Philly
Brian Dawkins is a true honest christian man. I look up to him as a mentor as honest guy and as a hero him alone got me to love the sport that is now a huge part of my life. He may have ended his career in Denver but he will always be a Eagle! I hope to one day see him inducted into the hall of fame!
I'm a Broncos fan and let me just say that I can't wait for Brian to suit up for the orange and blue. He's been a great player for the Eagles and brings a ton of experience and leadership to Denver. Believe me Eagles fans, I know what you're going through, the same thing happened to us when we let Steve Atwater go to the Jets. It was tough to see a fan favorite and a guy that had been with the organization for so long play for another team.
i will always miss you dawkins. my FAVORITE player. his eagerness to want to lay someone out on the field, has always motivated me on the field. but, im glad hes retiring as an eagle.
I literally tear up when i watch this video. I miss seeing him play so much. Such an amazing player and leader he deserves a ring so much its so sad he didnt get one in his career
I really won't believe it until the eagles defense takes the field without Brian. An amazing player, an amazing video - I love this song - it's going to my favorites.
What a great video. Man I was a little choked up at the end. To the complainers we knew this day would come. I'm not fan of the FO but Denver made an offer Dawk could not refuse. You expect the Eagles to match a 5 year deal worth 17mil with incentives could reach 27mil?? Hell no. It hurts bad but it's time to move on. We'll see Dawk again when he comes home to sign that 1 day contract that will allow him to retire and go to the hall as an Eagle. I wish him well. Good luck Dawk we love ya
Im not an Eagle fan, but this seriously does give me chills and I must say it's really disappointing that Dawkins left, he is perhaps one of the greatest football players I've ever seen. God Bless him
I miss this dude being on the Eagles. He was the Eagles backfield for 13 great seasons. And it still sucks not seeing him back there. He will forever be the heart and soul of the Eagles D along side J.J.
I remember when Steve Atwater left I was very sad.and so I understand how all you feel,I will cherish ever moment Dawkins dawns the blue and orange,I have a good feeling about the next two years
Much love and respect to Brian Dawkins for everything he has done for the Eagles over the last 13 seasons. Dawkins will forever be a Philadelphia Eagle. Good job on putting together this video however, the clip starting at 1:42 isn't of Dawkins making the sack I think it's Juqua Parker. Other then that good job.
The Eagles refusal to match/beat Denver's offer was inexcusable. In fact, Dawk should have never been allowed to enter free agency. He is 35, but boy did he ramp up his play down the stretch last year. You can put a price on the leadership and heart he brings to the table. The Eagles bufoonery in how they mishandled has really strained by loyalty as fan. Thanks for putting the tomahawk chop on Roethlisberger in this video. One of my favorite plays of all time!
Watching this video brings back the memories. Jeremiah Trotter and Brian Dawkins taking control of Jim Johnson's brick wall of a defense. Good luck getting past it. Miss those days, and I hope there is a Super Bowl in the near future.
By the way for those that are wondering, the song in the video is "Promentory" off the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack. Check it out, the whole album is solid
Makes me cry, I'm still sick over this. I keep hoping to wake up and find out it's all a bad dream. I can't wait to see him this year when we play Denver at the Linc. I may a Broncos fan that day.
i never thought i would cry about one single player leaving. then i saw this and i had tears rolling down my face. good bye to the best safety of all time. how could the front office let this happen. 13 years and no respect to the man. i dont blame him for taking dennver's offer.
Mr. Lurie, You bought our team for $182M and now its worth over $1B. Good for you. Why didn't you pay BDawk!?!?! His contributions were priceless. Look at our team since! You should have pulled that trade for him before week 6 this fall. Please pay DeSean and get Brian back for one more year!!!!!!!! JakeChavez6, great vid my man! You have my favorite BDawk play of all time in here--the tomahawk strip on Big Ben which I remember like it was yesterday -An Eagles fan since 1980
I cant believe they only offered him a year. Hes the greatest free saftey this league has seen in a long long time, and in my opinion, the most energetic and blessed player in the NFL. Dawkins, after your 5 years in denver, what do you say about another final carreer season in philadelphia. We all know you got in you.
I'm a Niners fan but Brian Dawkins is my all-time favorite safety not named Ronnie Lott. Better than Ed Reed, Rodney Harrison, and Palumalu. All 4 are all-time greats. What a decade the 2000s was for safeties. Not to mention guys like Sean Taylor, and Roy Williams. Anyway NFL 2K5 is my favorite football game ever and I still play it. I play as Eagles cuz Niners sucked back then. Every season B-Dawk is Defensive MVP with like 220+ tackles, 30+ sacks, 20+ ints, 10+ defensive TDs and 15-20 forced fumbles. Shoot sometimes he's even league MVP but most times McNabb and his 90+ TD passes and 8,000 or so yards usually wins it. Or Westbrook with his 3,000 total yards and 40 or so total TDs. Did I mention I'm really good at that game?
He is and always be a great man. No-one could replace his leadership and fiery intensity. However... he was getting old. He missed key plays in the NFC Championship game. His coverage skills aren't what they used to be. This Eagle team now is young and have the determination to go all the way. With all the weapons...and enough veteran leadership...The Eagles will fly! Keep bleeding green!
24/m/CA I was sad when I heard about Brian Dawkins not playing anymore in Philly. :( But...I must say that I love what he has done w. that defense in Denver. Weapon X is one of the main reasons why Denver is doing well this season. The Eagles managers are watching Denver and thinking, "He can still play and make an impact on an entire team @ his age. Was letting him go such a good idea?"
thank you, a raider fan has class i kno its been hard for u's these past few seasons but the raiders have a good history and they'll be back idk when but they will
I am really sad he left, but I also have hope that he will come back and coach the Eagles after he retires. Unfortunately he won't come back as a player, but possibly a coach, and after reading several interviews with him talking about his pastimes with the Eagles, its comforting to know how much love he still holds for Philly.
Brian Dawkins is true. There is no other player like him. He always shows up ready to play. In my eyes, hes the best player in the league at the FS position.
Couldn't said it better about Dawkins. I always thought that out of everybody in Philly sports he would be the one to spend his entire career in Philly. It was a sad day when he left and just watching this is a little depressing. Not only was Dawkins an amazing player he was also an amazing leader. What a bad mistake to let him go.
b dawk i consider the best eagle ever, no one has his heart and no one can get as mental on the field. b dawk and b west my favorites, same team or not.......... an honor to meet dawk and watch him come on the field!!!!!!!!!
I hope this shows the entire world just how passionate eagle fans are about their team and their players.. we get such a bad rep and it really isnt deserved..sure we are tough..but we just want guys to "go all out..all in..give it to me..and im gonna give it to you" that quote is what we look for out of our players..dawk spoke to the players for us..
I never thought that I would act like my Dad crying when Schmidt retired but I now know exactly how he feels. I hope Dawkins moves in to coaching someday so he can maybe walk the eagles sidelines again.
This my friend, is a sick video.
Probably the best Brian Dawkins video I've seen.
He really is a beast, a warrior, a legend.
If only he wasn't as old as he is and could offer what he offered in Denver as he did in Philly.

This is really a beautiful video. I know its kind of a broken record now but we really need this guy back. His leadership and energy is really missed.
This is one of the best videos i have seen on youtube. Im a 49er fan but i respect guys that can ball and b dawk was and is a baller. Sweet vid man...
i miss you b dawks. everyone misses you. fans, coaches, players. There will never be another brian dawkins, ever. its crazy how much emotion he has for the game

one of my favorite youtube videos, truly a masterpiece. B-Dawk would be proud.
Im a denver bronco fan and i've always been a fan of dawkins and what he brings to the field. Hes awsome to watch and glad that hes now playing for the broncos.!!
Thanks for all the years we got to watch you play your heart out day in and day out. You´ll allways have a place in our hearts...
Fly, Eagles , Fly

Absolutely, positively fantastic stuff. Jake, you can be proud of this vid!
Cant wait until Denver plays us this year. Gonna give Dawk one last standing ovation.
Thaks for this, whenever I heard of Promentory and watching The Last of Mohican..
I'll remember Brian Dawkins
how could you even dislike this video give the man his respect!!!! My mans Brian Dawkins put on for his city in Philadelphia every sunday brings tears to my eyes that he is actually gone now
This man wasn't just the anchor of this Eagles Defense. He was the heart and soul of it! We miss you BDawk!
Surely one of the best safeties in the NFL for all of his 13 seasons. Some of the best ball-hawking skills in the league. his passion and intensity was unrivaled. great character. great man. we'll miss you,

a piece of me really died that day... we lost more than a incredible player, but a priceless human... the eagles will never be the same
absolute heart, soul & intensity! B-Dawk is a Philly legend, period!
i will always miss you dawkins. my FAVORITE player. his eagerness to want to lay someone out on the field, has always motivated me on the field. but, im glad hes retiring as an eagle.
I literally tear up when i watch this video. I miss seeing him play so much. Such an amazing player and leader he deserves a ring so much its so sad he didnt get one in his career
Dawkins, you will always be loved, missed, and remembered in the eyes of philly fans
AWESOME VID MAN!!! Im crying my eyes out man.. def my all time favoirte eagle.. just wish we could have gotten him that ring he so deserves!
I really won't believe it until the eagles defense takes the field without Brian. An amazing player, an amazing video - I love this song - it's going to my favorites.
its a bloody shame we lost such a great player, he'll always be an eagles to me. the best of luck in denver brian
this video never gets old.
i love how he plays
What a great video. Man I was a little choked up at the end. To the complainers we knew this day would come. I'm not fan of the FO but Denver made an offer Dawk could not refuse. Never be another...my favorite player. Don't care for the Broncos but I'll always root for Brian Dawkins. He defines the word Heart.
Bryant Dawkins a leader and the heart of faith love the city in Philly. I will vote for him in hall of fame.
Im not an Eagle fan, but this seriously does give me chills and I must say it's really disappointing that Dawkins left, he is perhaps one of the greatest football players I've ever seen. God Bless him
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle
Good Luck Brian, your the mannn, thanks for the great memories...I'll be missing the tunnel entrances greatly
there is never ever going to be someone like BRIAN DAWKINS
I miss this dude being on the Eagles. He was the Eagles backfield for 13 great seasons. And it still sucks not seeing him back there. He will forever be the heart and soul of the Eagles D along side J.J.

Great pics and great video scenes (many of which aren't your typical ones found on youtube)
Im so glad the Broncos could get such a tremendous leader and player in Dawkins.
I agree. Donovan is a so under appreciated. I hope he retires an Eagle.
Long live B-Dawk! I hope he has some GREAT years in Denver.
we all miss you as an eagle but once an eagle always an eagle..thanks for a great 13 years in philly...
The Eagles refusal to match/beat Denver's offer was inexcusable. In fact, Dawk should have never been allowed to enter free agency. The Eagles bufoonery in how they mishandled has really strained by loyalty as fan. Thanks for putting the tomahawk chop on Roethlisberger in this video. One of my favorite plays of all time!
Brian Dawkins is probably one of the very few eagles players to NOT bring philly a super bowl but still be considered a legend and fan favorite here.
sad to see him go....but thanks for the memory, you're still an eagle in my book.
Ugh, Brian Dawkins #20...
you will be missed.
no one will ever replace you.
Much Love for all the man has done for Philly. DAMN i miss him bad allready, and it doesnt matter how he plays on the broncos, BIRDS were his team
i dont believe wat i just witnessed. How could this happen?! I love this man!!!!
Yes, take care of our boy.
He will ALWAYS BE AN EAGLE.
MAY GOD BLESS, BRIAN DAWKINS.
What a walk down memory lane. I loved 2000s football
Whoever assembled this video deserves a medal or award
Denver, you got a great guy. I hope he has enough in the tank to bring some glory to your organization. I am a B Dawk fan, forever.
Watching this video brings back the memories. Jeremiah Trotter and Brian Dawkins taking control of Jim Johnson's brick wall of a defense. Good luck getting past it. Miss those days, and I hope there is a Super Bowl in the near future.
i cried no joke couldent belive it but hes still an eagle... for life
awesome video...
that's how fans should thank a player of this calibre
By the way for those that are wondering, the song in the video is "Promentory" off the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack. Check it out, the whole album is solid
sad day for us all. wont be the same without him..
P.s.the music is the theme song for the last of the Mohicans. awesome tribute
cheers
Makes me cry, I'm still sick over this. I keep hoping to wake up and find out it's all a bad dream. I can't wait to see him this year when we play Denver at the Linc.
I may a Broncos fan that day.
Dolphin fan giving respect to Brian Dawkins and the city of Phili.
Iv never seen a city love there player that much.
I am still in mourning. B Dawkins was the heart of the Eagles. The body can't survive without the heart ladies and gentlemen.
One day...
One day he'll be an Eagle again.
That'll be such a beautiful moment.
Not just fav football player but fav athlete and one of my fav people of all time
i never thought i would cry about one single player leaving. then i saw this and i had tears rolling down my face. good bye to the best safety of all time. how could the front office let this happen. 13 years and no respect to the man. i dont blame him for taking dennver's offer.
i feel the exact same way, I grew up watching the man... heartbroken
Nice video.
The "Last of the Mohicans" music really sets the tone.
Good job.

Weapon X will greatly be missed, his intensity, hard hits, great picks, and overal defencesive leadership.

R,I,P JJ - the Ringmaster
Brian Dawkins will always be an Eagles. We will miss you out there this season Weapon X!
the heart of brian dawkins cannot be measured.

I love how after that hit at 1:34 it looks like he's taking a bow.
P.S. I am an Eagles fan but the Broncos will probably be a close second this year.
thank you, a raider fan has class i kno its been hard for u's these past few seasons but the raiders have a good history and they'll be back idk when but they will
Brian Dawkins...kid is a hall of famer for sure
im frm new zealand and this guy made me luv tha sport shot d philly wil miss ya
Great Video. Your stuff is really high quality
Aw man, Dawkins and Staley together, it's been too long since I've seen that :( I miss him already.
I am really sad he left, but I also have hope that he will come back and coach the Eagles after he retires. Unfortunately he won't come back as a player, but possibly a coach, and after reading several interviews with him talking about his pastimes with the Eagles, its comforting to know how much love he still holds for Philly.
As a Cowboy fan I am glad to see him go...But only out of respect! He is a beast on the field.

litto sheppard, sheldon brown, and brian dawkins, we need you back. i wish we still had jim johnson. R.I.P
God, this is hard to watch. I will miss him so much. I feel like the Eagles are a team without a heart now.
b dawk i consider the best eagle ever, no one has his heart and no one can get as mental on the field. b dawk and b west my favorites, same team or not.......... an honor to meet dawk and watch him come on the field!!!!!!!!!
This year wont be the same without no.20 in the defensive backfield. I hope he does great in Denver and I cant wait for him to come back in week 16.
I will never forget brian dawkins he was one of the best
i will die for any eagle ecspecially dawkins he was the heart and soul he was so BEAST! eagles fans will never forget him.
I'll still wear his shirt with pride because even if he changed team, he's still my player and I still bleed green...
@AndinoVictor The song is Promentory, from the Last Of The Mohicans soundtrack
LOVE IT - exceptional work .. wu dlove to see that footage wher he crushes duante culpepper at the 1yr d lin and fumbles.
He pumps me up more than anyone on earth....what song is that, i wanna lift to it lol
