Founded in the Taisho era, it will soon be 100 years since it moved to its current location in 1927.
It is currently run by the 3rd generation and my mother.
My mother is now 86 years old, she has been in the store for 63 years, and she is now in charge of the cauldron.
It is a famous restaurant that has long been loved by the locals for its udon and rice bowl dishes made with homemade noodles using the old-fashioned method passed down from the first generation.
Udon is of course popular, but katsudon is even more popular. The mega katsudon, which has double the cutlet and double the rice, is a whopping 980 yen!
A popular menu that has been passed down from the previous owner to want you to eat delicious food to your heart's content. *Since it is a service menu, if you leave it, it will be the usual 1600 yen.
Full of affection, the warm taste is exactly the local soul food.
Ramen with homemade noodles and miso stewed udon are also excellent!

この年齢で頑張っているって凄いな私にはとても見習う事は出来ないよ。何時迄も息子さんと無理しないで美味しいうどん提供して下さい。因みに私の祖母の弟はうどん作ってました。父の従姉妹もうどん屋です。
好きな食べたいものってのはいつ食べても美味いし作る創作側も作る喜びまさに一石二鳥！だれもが食べないと生きていけないのだから美味しいものには幸せがある！たくさんの人それぞれの食を大切にしてまた食べるのに感謝です！

My deep respect to the lady and her son, especially the lady because she proves to have iron will to keep on working and disregard her age, which I deeply respect. I got inspiration and willpower from watching her cook and run the restaurant. If I get a chance, I will go and have a meal at her restaurant.

The government in the USA is doing too good a job of trying to shut down all the Mom and Pop restaurants. It was especially a merciless nightmare during Covid, so many closed, including due to damage from unmonitored riots.
