It was really slow lol, but we were determined to get to as high elevation as we can to make sure it’s cold!
Hey man sick vid, can I ask you what mount that is for your awning? Been needing to find a similar mount that won't be in the way of my rtt!
It’s the Ironman 4x4 quick awning mount!
This is what I always imagine snow wheeling to be like! Slow, hard, fruitless with a high likelihood of failure. But worth every second! Crusty with ice crystals is the worst. I prefer wet and thick but timing is difficult.
Timing is definitely difficult! Powder would be optimal for me and my baby tires haha
I feel like airing down wouldn’t be helpful? With snow I’ve had more luck with narrower tires
It always a balance. We don’t have beadlocks and I was around 12psi. Going lower could have helped, but it was the crust layer that was slowing us down. Narrow tires might sink more and the snow was deep. I think in this situation bigger tires would have helped a lot. Thanks for watching!

Yeah it’s 3-3.5” or so
