When you knock through into the current pink room I would definitely keep the fireplace for the bathroom en-suite it would be a lovely feature to have in the winter especially if you put in a bath for soaking

Love the dark colours you have used and FINALLY a you tube channel with a person who appreciates good quality curtains and how they really enhance a room.
i just love the look of radiators, they give such old school parisian vibes
you can do wainscoting on that specific wall, so the radiator blends in but I really think it gives warmth to the space.

for the radiator, google Jali panels. Rad covers are easy to build when you buy these.

The fireplaces throughout your house are so gorgeous! The one in the pink bedroom is so lovely and I do like the white and pink contrast -- maybe keep that wallpaper but lose the carpet, drapes, and bows. I can tell you that you're a bit burnt out from 2 full years of renovation now -- I hope that you can see how much amazing work that you've done and feel proud and cozy.
First off, thank you awfully much for sharing your Reno's with we couch-potatoes. I very much enjoyed. NB ... Sometime in the future, with an engineers permission, perhaps consider knocking out the wall between your living & dinning rooms. This would effectively enlarge your living room conversational area with a larger settee say, adding two easy chairs & a coffee table or large foot stool. Visually adding visual space, adding a more utilitarian use of your dinning room beyond Sunday dinners, Xmas etc,... for instance homework, occasional office use, a games space. PS... decorators rule... "small room doesn't equal small bitty furniture." That only enhances the smallness of the room.
It is amazing to see the enormous amount of work you and Ollie have done on the house this year. Everything is looking so lovely...well done!

your house is so lovely! The entry, living room and back kitchen is the exact layout of my grandparents old home, it made me feel so nostalgic of Christmas when I was little! Have you thought about changing the way the doors swing in the dining room and living room? It would make your rooms feel more open and give you better room flow. Everything looks beautiful❤️
I am not a neutral room kind of person (my entire house goes in darker shades like your dining room) but oh wow you have converted me to find even a light room cozy. You have the most wonderful taste. I even had a pink kitchen when I went wrong trying to paint it 'muted coral' we kept it for two years as everyone was obsessing over it. One of the most luscious bedrooms we ever stayed in was a dusty pink bedroom, it still has us swooning to this day =)

It looks beautiful in your living room. I get why you love the mirror over the mantelpiece. (TVs are an eye sore) You could move the big black framed picture over the bar cart and put the little pale pictures (from over the bar cart) over the TV... That way the room is more balanced with a big square and black from the frame on each side of the mantelpiece (ie there is more symmetry).
PS there are TVs which double as artwork now. But they are very expensive.. But I've seen DIY jobs where people make their own frame for their TV.

Buy the little water containers for floral stems at your florist to keep your eucalyptus fresh..it's worth the investment as you will be using them year after year.....So Beautiful Laura!🌲🌲🎄
Do Ollie & yourself plan on doing any of the internal carpentry i.e wardrobes? You guys definitely seem more than capable. I can thoroughly recommend getting a plunge saw for the task if you are (if you don't have one already). Otherwise, looking great - you do a really good job of making sure you have rooms clear of renovation rubble which I am not good at, at all.
I am new to your channel, will definitely have to look at previous ones... 3 floors wow! what fun! It helps that you have a vision of what you want! that nebulous feeling what I always get, nothing concrete! it is so frustrating! so glad that things are progressing like you want them to! will definitely check back in! xoxo
Actually, I think where you have your tv now is better than having it above the fireplace, as you don't have to look up all the time, which would be hard on your neck. Gorgeous, cosy home! I've only recently discovered you, and I'm taking myself through your videos chronologically, hence watching this one now. Mind you, in NZ, it seems appropriate, as the temperatures match up! I'm very interested in what you are wearing, as we are also in a 1910 villa and freeze when we live the living room!

The hallway wall, at 15:00 in your video, had the look of an impressionist painting of soft florals. Would you ever consider painting in the greenery with paint and making it a lush painted wall mural? I love the Mirror over 🔥. Fireplace. I dislike Large TV over fireplace. Mirror is beautiful
