What a nice ferry ⛴️ ride today. 55 minutes is not bad time. Another great video Paul. Have a great weekend and stay safe out there on your journeys my friend
I've been on a ferry before, and I think this ship is bigger.😍😍👍👍 A new journey of adventure begins. I'm looking forward to it.💕💕 I hope you are always healthy and full of luck wherever you go.💖💖
Well hopefully people hoping to make the same journey find the video useful. I will have a few videos coming from the Isle of Arran. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you are keeping well, my friend 👍🙂
Hi Anita, I'm glad you enjoyed the journey. I hope people planning to make the same journey find it useful. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week ahead 🙂👍
Hi Paul, thank you for sharing your ferry journey. Good job you booked in advance. Great to see the views of the ocean and the coast. We look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Have a great weekend! 😊❤
Hi Julie n Lucy, yeah glad I booked well in advance or I may have ended up being a foot passenger. It was a nice crossing. I will have a few videos out soon from the Isle of Arran as I do a bit of exploring. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week ahead 🙂👍Paul
I always enjoy taking a ferry on a scenic adventure! Great information on the overall process. Fascinating how they load the ferries up! Lovely to see the lighthouse! I had never heard of the isle of arran but can’t wait to see more, a mini Scotland sounds amazing. Can’t wait to see your next adventure! 😊💕
Thanks for taking us along with you. Interesting process of bridging your car on the ferry. Great views and nice information. Also lovely views of the landscapes along the way. Have a great week
Hello Paul, very good information about boarding a ferry, for people having never done this trip before. Nice journey across the water and your exit onto the island. Thank you for sharing, happy weekend, Julie and Tony x
I have never been on a ferry and would have no idea how to use one! I guess that is what happens when you live in a land locked area like we do. Cool to see the inside of the ferry. Nice to see the lighthouse and the isle along the way. Have a great weekend! 😊👍
Hi Anita, it's been a while since I have been on a ferry and certainly with a vehicle. I was a bit unsure of myself at first. Hopefully people find the video useful. I should have a few videos from the Isle of Arran, Scotland coming soon. Thanks for watching 🙂👍Paul
This was so cool, i felt like i was there with you going on the ferry! Makes me want to go on another adventure :) very helpful if your making this journey yourself
Hi Dave, I hope to go back as I didn't do some of things I wanted. Next time I may take the train there as the bus station and hotels are walking distance from the ferry in Brodick. Hopefully people making the same trip find the video useful 🙂
This is a good informative share that describes the ferry booking system, etc. Everything you need to know for the trip. Sounds very similar to the ferry booking system here. I enjoyed seeing the lighthouse on the way out. Looking forward to seeing more adventures on the Isle of Arran! 🚢🚢👍👍🏝
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope people wanting to make the journey find the video useful. I do a bit of exploring whilst on the Isle of Arran in Scotland and there will be videos of that out soon. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 🙂👍
Morning Paul After re watching all your videos from Arran we have now booked a 3 night stay on Arran in April. Can't wait. We can't book the ferry yet as the summer timetable isn't available to book until mid January. Hope you're well Have a great day ❤
Hi Morgs Jo and Boo, I'm sure you will really enjoy the Isle of Arran especially if you get the weather. I'd love to return one day to hike Goat Fell. The weather was not on my side. I'd definitely book in advance if going over with a vehicle but getting around on Arran on public transport is also pretty good if going as a foot passenger 🙂
Hi Paul A great video with lots of information 😊 Really enjoyed this, I was only saying to Morgs this weekend we need to visit the Isle of Arran on one of our visits to Scotland (Somewhere to maybe include in our next years roadtrip) Great to see how easy getting the ferry is. Looked a good crossing 😊 hoping we get a good crossing when we visit The Orkney Isles next month. Morgs was green on our crossing to the Isle of Skye. Looking forward to following your adventures on Arran 😊 Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕
Hi Morgs Jo and Boo, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thankfully I don't get sea sick even in the most choppy of water. You should get over to the Isle of Arran sometime but Orkney sounds awesome. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week ahead 👍🙂 Paul
Taking a car ferry is kind of a foreign concept to me Just don't have them where I live Interesting to learn how it works. small but beautiful light house Looking forward to your adventures on isle of Arran Not sure if I mentioned before but my mom's family from there long ago Cheers 20
Hi Mike, it had been a while since I had taken a vehicle on a ferry. I hope people making the same trip find the video useful. I don't think you've mentioned it before but the Isle of Arran is beautiful little island. I will have a few videos coming from the Arran. Thank you very much for watching 👍🙂 Paul
I'm back Paul with lunch 😃 This would be so helpful for people planning to visit with all of the advice you gave about booking early arriving early. etc. Interesting that you filmed the process too and mentioned about the option of buying drinks and snacks. It all seemed a seamless trip. Love the sound of that RSPB island nature reserve and looking forward to seeing your visit here . That was really informative and would be very useful 👏~ Anna
Hi Anna, well I hope people who are planning on making the same trip find it useful. I should have 3 or 4 videos from the Isle of Arran in the near future. Thank you very much for taking time to watch. Have a great weekend 👍🙂 Paul
Hi Paul It is remarkable about your ability to disseminate plenty of essential information, tips and advice through your experience to the audience/ potential visitors. Your outstanding script and voice-over are appreciated. Enjoy the summer...solo hike is coming up some time later??? hahah Look forward to it
Hi Ms Kayak, well I hope people making the same trip find the video useful. I thought it was a good intro before I get into what I got up to on the Isle of Arran. Of course there will be some solo hiking from Arran. I'm not so sure about Summer...what's that? This is the UK you know 😂 Thanks for watching 🙂👍Paul
Great information a good to see your ferry crossing Paul. We’ve never taken our car on a crossing I too would probably hold everyone up! Nicks not got great sea legs, I can be a bit iffy too if it’s rough weather so was nice experiencing it on dry land from the comfort of our couch 😂👍
It was my first time across on a ferry with a vehicle for many a year. I was a bit gormless with seeing the directives 😂 I'm fine on boats and choppy waters thankfully. Hopefully people find the video useful. Thank you very much for watching 🙂👍Paul
Nice one Paul, nice easy sail. Not sure if you know Ian Tupman or not(and you're probably not there anymore) but he lives up that way and is a lovely chap. Ian Tupman Outdoors is the channel name. Look forward to the Arran vids in the next few weeks!
Hi Matt, it was a smooth ferry crossing and pretty well organised, well when certain passengers wake up and follow directions 😂 I'm not familiar with Ian but sounds like you may have seen most of the sites already. I hope I do the places I visited justice. Have a great weekend 🙂👍Paul
I love a ferry trip me 😁 and this was a great idea to show people what to expect. Great tip to book early as last time I wanted to go to Mull it was fully booked for weeks and was unlucky ... was better prepared for the trip to Orkney though and that was fantastic. This seemed to be a pretty easy seamless experience and not too rough out on the open sea. You trying to pull in some more viewers with that "even more sexy" husky voice ? Hahaha 🤣
It's been a while since I took a vehicle on the ferry so was a bit rusty about the procedure. It was all very slick. I think you're fine just turning up as a foot passenger but not so with a vehicle. If I go to the Isle of Arran again I might take the train and go as a foot passenger. So my voice sounds even more sexy. Tho I'm not sure it's sexy in the first place 😂 Tho I have got into the narration a bit more 🙂 I'll be doing naked hiking next 😂😂😂
Hi Anne, well I sure do hope to share 3 or 4 videos from my trip to the Isle of Arran in the not too distant future. You will unfortunately even get to see my face on 1 or 2 😂
Quite a few slip ups there with the license plates :D. I guess this one is going to bring you quite some watchtime again. I do prefer the actual trails, compared to the journey getting there. I guess thez are quite useful for collecting watchtime though. Not too much competition.
I'm not sure why I bothered with the license plates cos other people don't. I guess I didn't feel comfortable having them plastered all over the video. You're right tho I didn't perfect it. I guess I need more practice. There will be some hiking and visits to places of interest coming from the Isle of Arran soon. Thanks for watching 👍
