Well...in fairness, he had more chart success in the UK than anywhere else and was the UK's best-selling sole male artist of the entire decade. But it's true that he gets nowhere near the respect now that he deserves. Sod the British, what do they know? (I'm also British, so I'm allowed to say this!)
I am to, thats what greats a bit, why do you have to be a closet shaky fan, I'm out and 1000% proud to be despite the stick I get from others. Shaky is the best, no comparison to todays rubbish. I'm afraid radio 2 plays the same thing 6 times a day I've stopped listening it drives me nuts. Shaky via amazon music all day long its fab

Well...I don't agree. I think vocally, apart from one or two very minor slips, he's solid here. The main giveaway for me regarding his recovery period is that he was sat down for most of the performance.
WAW he sounds Amazing here, He's about 60 here Isn't he. But i will say this, Who made him go back to work so Quick After his Heart Attack, Was It Shaky's idea Or his Managers, Ether way it was way to soon, Because Iv'e just watched a concert from 2011 and he is all over the place, His Notes are out, And His speech is slurred, He sounds week. Yet here He sounds like the Old Shaky We grew up Listening to. They sent him back to work to early He wasn't ready. He didn't have time To get better from the Attack. They wore him out. Anyway enough of me going on, I really liked the Video it was a rear treat as Iv'e never seen this ever, So thanx for uploading it ny friend.
"They"? Nope, Shaky was desperate to get back to work. His wife, Sue, is also his manager but Shaky is absolutely in charge of his own career. This video was actually his FIRST TV appearance since the heart attack. Glad you enjoyed it😊

Anyway At least we still have him So that's Something we can Be Grateful for, A long time ago i use to Take shaky Off when i would go to Karaoke's And Free and easy Open mike night's. I had his voice to a T. And Even tried to do his moves, Not as good as him though He could really move Couldn't he. Rock on Shaky.
@@mansellracing8690 You may be right, but I do understand why he'd want to return to "normal" as soon as possible and remember, this vid was before the vocally patchy gigs you mentioned, so clearly, he _could_ nail the vocals, but maybe full gigs were a step too far at that point. Would've liked to have been at those karaoke nights, for sure! 👍👍
