I love how you use the clips it helps to show where to sew, I'm a person who hasn't sewn since 6th grade. Long time ago. You make it look easy. Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words ❤ And thank you so much for suggesting the sleepsie. Was so fun to make😀 Yes, we are working og these tutorials, as well as a sewing machine cover and pants with pockets😀
Can you help me understand did you cut the brown ribbon that lines the onesie that thin or did you purchase it that thin and just matched the color to the wrist bands and were they bought separately?
Hi, I'm removing the feet on some sleepsuits. What stitch and needle would be best for adding a hem? I don't have an overlocker but think I could zig zag and turn up a hem.
Hi! To make a hem twin needle or zigzag works fine. If you sew in stretchy fabrics you need a needle for elastic fabrics. In cotton jersey I would sew on cuffs so the sleepsie lasts longer❤
@@PatternsbyAnna Hi, thanks for your prompt reply. I think I'll try a twin needle for hemming. I am also unpicking stitches up to poppers approximately as the legs need to be open and not circular or with cuffs.
Can you explain in a little more detail how to finish the foot piece on the side the ribbing is on? I am stuck there and don't see any instruction or photos on this.
To sew on the footies: overlap the binding at the bottom of the foot with straight stitches across and cut off the excess binding. Now you have a circle at the bottom. Then sew the foot part (part 6) towards the bow of the front piece, with the right side facing each other. Flip the pajamas with the wrong side out and sew part 7. towards part 6 and the back piece, right sides together. Sew the circle and fasten the threads. www.happy-sewing.com/post/how-to-sew-a-sleepsie-footed-pj Here is a blog post on how to sew the Sleepsie.
Am I a dummy or is there a trick to sewing extremely tiny sleeves/cuffs on like that? I just can't seem to get enough space and it's not big enough to fit around the machine like you do for adult clothes.

I use a normal sewing machine and I think it gives enough space 😊
Dear god the beginning of this video was so loud both me and my baby jumped.
Hi, sorry to hear that! I hope you and your baby are fine.
No measurements given
Hi. This is a tutorial on our sewing pattern, it comes in many sizes so it would be impossible to share all the measurements in one video. 😊
