- A really terrific full length performance from the Proclaimers broadcast on BBC Alba. I regret not paying attention to this broadcast at the time because it's probably my favorite live performance at the moment!

I just love these two. If I ever feel down or depressed I put their albums on and I'm dancing round the room. Much to the disgust of my Border Collie who thinks I'm nuts.
I am from India and I am part of a rock n roll band, Knight shades, I first listened to 500 miles and was amazed due to the beautiful rhytm and the lyrics of the song, I came across this cocnert video and it made my day. Great band and THE GREAT PROCLAIMERS.
Right...?
So grateful I picked up Greatest Hits in Squamish BC thrift store. Amazing talent. I cherish. Amazing music.
Beautiful ! Thanks
These guys are just consistently great..absolutely fantastic!! And a brilliant band..!!
Today I wore my Proclaimers T-shirt and nobody knew who they were. True I live 250 miles from everywhere in America, but still I was sad. I Love This Band.
Deb Hernandez. You can share this video to your friends around you. Then they’ll know it next time you wear your tshirt again
I love them so much.
from Italy...THEY'RE GREAT LIKE SUNSHINE ON LEITH!
I love the proclaimers x
In Recognition is bloody brilliant!!! My favourite so far, It should have been released as a single!!
Could not be better
My biggest regret in my life. 31. Why were we not taught Gaelic in school? Yea. French,German & spanish. Of which; i have used a little. Mandarin & Thai i use everyday. Which i had to learn myself. But when i hear my countrymen talking in a language i don't understand. It make's me feel real bad inside. It's our heritage. Not latin. Please! Do not let it die. Maireachtail!
Purple rain
Both my boys are at the Gaelic school in Edinburgh and it is packed. People sending their kids to the school. The demand is huge. And people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Europe, South America, India, Africa .... etc;. So multi cultural. My boys are half Scottish, half Austrian. (Scottish NOT British - by the way).
German is not a Latin language.
Never to late to learn it tho 👌🏴🇮🇪
i LOVE the PROCLAIMERS

Saw them in Adelaide at the "Thebby" theatre last night, bloody fantastic.

Hi! I've already put it on yt. You are a little bit late. ;)

Why has Charlie got his hand covering his ear at the beginning of 'Sunshine on Leith'?
Most likely so he can better hear Craig to harmonize with him. Stevie (keyboards) is to his left and was perhaps a little too loud to hear him clearly.
Woolly fuck I'm due to support the HiNEeee
is the reporter speaking Gaelic?
TheIronFox™ Yes, Scottish Gaidhlig.
@@debratazz688 Yay!! My mom was Scottish.
Excellent demonstration of how titling their songs in their native language poses challenges for the English-Speaking audience of this Gaidhlig BBC Alba coverage of the Stornoway gig from 2012. @1:03:58 is my case in point!
the audience is cos there too enthralled to stomp about!
W tej sprawie rząd udaje że nie widzi i slyszy
I like the first song and would probably like more if I listened a couple of times. I still can not understand one verse in 500 miles...It sound like they sing in the chorus, "Get a latte, get a latte" but am not sure. Any thoughts on this?
Maybe they wrote " Throw The R Away " with the likes of you in mind . 😁
It's a vocal effect like jazz scatting.
Dadillatah, dadillatah, dadillatah, dadillatah diddilah diddilah diddilah dada!
