How to Give Tips, Advice, and Instructions in Portuguese

- To make requests and give tips, advice, and instructions in Portuguese you need a specific verb conjugation.
Say you want to record a voice mail greeting that says “Leave your message after the beep”; you need this conjugation.
If your friend is going to Brazil and you want to tell her “Eat pão de queijo, tapioca, and brigadeiro in Brazil!”, you need this conjugation.
I am talking about the Imperative or Commands. It is an easy conjugation and that is what you will learn in this lesson.

e outra pergunta seria porque os brasileiros as vezes falam "tu"? nao se fala assim so no portugues do portugal?

Olha este exemplo, que lhe dizer a um amigo, amigo rapaz, fale a noite comigo!
Posso tambien dizer: oi amigo, fale a noite comigo! qual seria a diferença esses dois exemplo?
o que acontece é que em espanhol nos falamos: hola amigo, habla conmigo esta noche. se eu conjugar como "hable", isso seria mais formal. "Hable" tem a forma subjuntiva de conjugaçao examante como Fale tem a forma subjuntiva em portugues. Por exemplo, Quero que vc fale comigo, nao diriamos quero que vc fala comigo. Hable comigo seria pra alguem que eu nao conheço ou uma pessoa mais velha ou no trabalho.
Mas os brasileiras usam Fala comigo e tambien Fale comigo pros seus amigos.
Pode me explicar tudo isto? eu to bem confuso. nenhum brasileiro ainda pude me explicar isso bem.

Oi, Armando. Fale is the conjugation for "você". Fala is the conjugation for "tu". In theory the books will tell you that Fala is more informal. But Brazilians will use both interchangeably without necessarily thinking about the conjugation.
Hi everyone! Does anybody know why it is "a filmes brasileiros"? Feminine article singular, noun in masculine plural and adjective ending in masculine plural? @.@
Oi, Thuy. Filme is a masculine word. So we'd have "o filme", "os filmes".
The verb Assistir (to watch) requires the preposition "a" after it. To watch something = Assistir a algo. To watch a movie = Assistir a um filme. To watch the movie = Assistir ao filme. To watch movies = Assister a filmes.
