Thank you for your video and your experience. I recently ordered a sleeve reflector and a CORVUS DEFENSIO KEYMOD FORWARD ACCESSORY RAIL from CORVUS Defense, and today I safely installed it on aug a2 Z.I installed a flashlight and bipods there, now I'm happy as a child)))
No experience with it. Thanks for mentioning it as I did forgot about it! Looks like a decent option to easily mount a light in the forward position for easy activation with your support hand on the vert grip. Its made out of aluminum so It shouldn't have any issues with heat being in direct contact with the gas block. Only issue I see is the price (currently $130 on their site). Seems a bit steep for what it is, but then again its a niche product and presumably produced in low volume. It does look to be good quality. I also am a fan of people stepping up to offer a product where they saw a gap in aftermarket options - I like to support them. If that product would get your light in the place you want it then why not.
In my looking around I just kept seeing a bunch of forum posts from ARID with renders of a design, but no substance or good information on when/if it would actually be released. Not encouraging. Also yea, I saw the clawgear gar regulator cover in their install video and never seen it for sale anywhere. It's not even listed on their site. Its such a niche market with probably low projected sales that I bet these companies aren't in a big hurry to get things done if they have anything else at all that is/will make them more money.
I wanted a horizontal forward grip but I have the A3AW and I didn’t want to lose my vertical or swap it for something different so I made a dropper that lowers the grip a full inch. Now the forward grip can be used in either orientation. Not so much an accessory hack, but I was curious as to why I had to make one.
Clawgear is bigger, bulkier, probably a little heavier, about 2x the cost. I dont like how close in around the gas regulator it is tho. I run this suppressed and have the supressor gas plug and that one looked like it would be more difficult to switch regulator positions.
I just love listening to your voice. ❤
Just messing with you good vid.
Do I make you randy baby? yeaaahhhhhh

I understand that it doesn't meet all of your requirements but I'm curious to know if you have any experience or thoughts on the pup light.

Still haven’t seen anything from arid about the handguard yet and can’t find that cover for the claw gear handguard anywhere. Kinda frustrating

Very informative. I was looking for info whether you still can remove the barrel with corvus defensio mount. Cheers from Poland.

Maybe I missed it, why this over the claw gear Handguard?
