We love Archie opening that silent butler's little door and staring at Mike! When I was little when this originally aired- I was eight- I had NO IDEA WHAT this episode was about OF COURSE, but just the way Archie did that and stared at Meathead cracked me up! LOL!! Kim
I knew there was a name for those sliding doors but i forgot after all these years ,thanks it was driving me crazy
I forget they are actors and get mad at Meathead for divorcing Gloria after her parents paid his room and board during his 4 years of college, etc.
Lol so true , my niece hears me talking back to the tv one time and she said "umm you know it's a movie" 😂
She cheated on him though and even Archie took Mike's side

I was just a kid when this show was on back when there were 4 channels and my old man controlled the TV. He was a racist, homophobic piece of crap like Archie, only without the redeeming qualities. As an adult I can look back now and say this was one of the best TV shows in history and he was one the best actors. I'm glad my old man loved the show so I could see it. The live episodes with Woody and Marisa playing Archie and Edith were awesome. Cheers.
Wow, you really don't understand this show at all if that's how you describe Archie. Maybe you didn't have a bad father, sounds like he had a terrible SON..
This was one of the shows we were not allowed to watch when Dad was home.
