I've had my 2012 SW Maxi for a few years now. At first, I was reluctant to do the test drive after laying eyes on it, After a few miles I had zero legitimate reasons to say ''No Thanks'' and I bought her. By the time I drove it home I had a mad crush on her and fell in love. It is a touring scooter all day super smooth and power to stay in the fast lane optionally. Added a Malossi exhaust and three mode fog lights that gets traffic to notice you while lane splitting. Added a Honda Repsol racing decaled wrap for more visibility. Lovable beast of a scooter.
I went and test rode a 2002 silverwing as a joke and fell in love. It has great power, it does great two up and my girlfriend is much more comfortable riding on the back of it in comparison to my old v star. Its like a fun little two-wheeled prius🤣
Just for the info...these models in Italy as they ride scooters a lot reached 200.000km with original engine. Means twin parallel from Honda is a quality product.
great video any changes to the gas flow when the new exhaust was put on? did the take and performance change? was it hard to fit the exhaust on the silver wing?
Question for Jose. Like you, I’m also tall and I like your seat mod. Where did you have it upholstered. I like your other mods, too. Any suggestions for me to work on? Jesus.

Yes, they are for sure soft, you could change out the springs and put thicker oil in them if you wanted to stiffen them up but as they are I think they work fine. The scooter rides so nice

Honda has a better scooter now, unfortunately they have never brought it to the states, same as Yamaha does not bring that great 560 Tmax. Just not enough sales to justify due to scooter perception by the majority of the riding public. Such a shame.
They are a damn good scoot. It's a good little brother to the GoldWing.

Just bought one today for 1,400$ with only 11,615 miles. I already love it I’m gonna get on the highway once the stupid rain stops

I need them rotors. ..I called ss power sport in they said they can't order any brake pads. .but they did order me a tire.

Just a question, are the front forks soft? It seems all Silverwing have pretty soft front. Probably for comfort they made it such.
