So, what it like when there's no night? I'm an Englishman who has been living in South West Finland in Pori for the last two-and-a-half years, and this is my take on the Finnish summer. #SuomiKesä #midnightsun #finland

From March 21st to September 21st (SUMMER) we have longer days than you. From September 21st to March 21st (WINTER) you have longer days than us. Question: when do you want more sunlight, in the winter, when you're inside, or the summer, when you're outside? For me, it's a no-brainer, and you don't even have the snow or the Northern lights.

Looks really lovely but I wouldn't be able to cope with the Winter cold. My husband has travelled there a bit on business- when he described things I knew I couldn't cope with living there. I have been in Sweden in October and it was dark by 3pm and it never stopped raining. I realise the UK has many issues right now and is pretty grey for a number of months but to give the country some credit (it's not all bad!!) our temperatures are mild and we have been getting some decent Summer recently. If I move somewhere it will have to be for the warmth- and do have an Oz passport.
