Falling a little more in love with Finland with each video.
I've always thought that Finnish people don't talk out so much about there wonders they have here, as they want to keep it a secret :D I think my theory is kind of true. Thanks Hannah
I spent a summer on the Baltic Sea in Finland. I remember how cold the water was. But the sauna to water experience is out of this world.
True that Erik :)
Finland is the most beautiful place on earth in my opinion
80°C is normally my go to temperature! Great video once again!
Thanks :)
What a relaxing video and clearly you had a relaxing holiday! I love how light it stays so late into the night! I can see why it’s difficult to go to bed! Oh, I LOVE MINT ICE CREAM!
Mint ice cream is the best!!! People love ice cream here in Finland, even in the cold winter! Very relaxing, hard to get back up to speed after such a peaceful time :D
Great video and what a beautiful place it is.
:)))
So far, what an excellent video, Marc! Love having some speaking again! lol! Thanks for sharing Finland!
Thanks Parker, I have some catching up with your videos, you've been really doing great work. I was reading the Jack Daniels book again in the hammock this time, thought you'd like that :)
@@runningwithmarc That was awesome, I loved that! Just finished watching and it was an 11/10!
Such an amazing video, Marc. This place looks like from a fairytale!
Thanks Piotr
Oh how I enjoy these videos and I miss the cottage so much. The drone shots were perfect. What a beautiful place.
Cheers Jon, I miss even though I was only there last weekend, but going back today as it's a long weekend here because of midsummer :D
A library! Brilliant, my money was on a toilet 😂
The Determined Runner easily mistaken for from the outside 😂
Love the old school shower! Haha. Sysma looks absolutely beautiful!
You're absolutely right Vince :)
5:02 For me best temperature is between 60 and 70 degrees. Over 80 is too hot and under 50 is too cold. There has to be some sweat. :D
I think I agree with you Dina
Looks incredible there, what a place! 👌
Thanks so much for watching, really do appreciate it :)
Really love the nature in northern Europe 😯 also your reaction when jumping into the lake 😂😂
Haha, watching it back, I thought, what a drama queen!!!!!
Nice Finnish video once again 🌞 I like sauna being mild as 65-75C° but I prefer to stay a bit longer as I enjoy relaxing feeling of fever, not feeling of burning skin 😊
Yeah the burning skin feeling isn't the best one :D Have a nice Juhannus mate :)
@@runningwithmarc Hyvää Juhannusta 🌞
Three things 1) WOW, what a picturesque place to escape to. 2) Loved the drone shots! 3) I got a Violife advert appear before your video!
1) 👊 2)👊 3)👊
Great video Marc. Awesome scenery.
How do you spell the name of the Finnish yard game you were playing with the family? Thanks.
Hey, thanks for watching and sharing. It's 'Mölkky' I've actually seen it being sold in some stores in other countries also (France and UK)
Great video, nice to see you enjoying family life. Liked the game of knocking down the firewood. I thought the shed was going to be a toilet!
Thanks, yes it was a great time on so many levels. I guess you could use it as a toilet, but you'd upset quite a lot of people!
Beautiful place... Great family also
❤️
Your video made me want to go to Finland even more, great content! But from a fellow brit to another, how bad are the mosquitos? I can have severe reactions to them sometimes, so i am hesitant about finnish summer haha
Thanks Charlotte. In the north of Finland they can be really bad, like swarms of them, you can just search it in RUclips and see, if you want to see it 😆.
Here in the south it's no way near like there, but yes they are here, helps when it's windy, wearing long clothes and keep moving. I also sometimes get quite large reactions, but have been fine.
So in short, yes they are here in the south during the summer months, so it could be a good plan to come at the beginning of Autumn, the trees turn to beautiful colours, or late spring when the ice/snow has melted..... then there are no mosquitos.
@@runningwithmarc thanks Marc, Really appreciate the info!
90c it gives a nice sting when you throw löyly but you are not forced breath through your mouth. More people should experience the cottage experience, get back to the roots if you will.
I agree that more people should experience it, Occasionally I do like to have a hotter sauna, but not so hot that it would sting too much on every löyly :)
My fave is +50°C with a really hot kiuas (and to get this I'm always the first one to go to the sauna) so once you throw löyly, the steam is HOT. It's like ice bucket challenge but with really hot steam instead 😄
lnxlnx MY favourit is +60-70 C and when you throw a löyly it feels sharp hot or smooth hot but hot anyway :)
This is what I love about Sauna, it's not just one temperature and type of sauna that has one same feeling, go at a different temp, and you get a totally different experience. It really is an art isn't it!!!!
Cheers 🙏🏼👍🏻
Thanks Corentin :))))
Another great video. Which language do you use when speaking to Emma? Emma's parents?
Usually English, I understand and can talk in Finnish, but I can express myself better in English, and I guess the same goes the other way round (although all of there English is way way better than my Finnish). I do sometimes talk in Finnish with Emma's parents, but Emma and I always talk in English. :) Hope you are well.
ciao Marc, I hope to find you well. I'd have a question for u directly involved in suunto development. Have u ever think about to upgrade the suunto 9 baro with oximeter features? I guess it could be done easily by a software upgrade. In this pandemic moment, this features could improve your sell as well as fidelity from regular users, since it's well known and proved that oximeter sells went viral amongst Amazon subscriber.... it's a really cool features that allows you to keep under control any oxigen lack.... especially caused by covid19.I'd be super glad if my watch could monitoring and control my oxigen level.thanks for ur time
Hey Davide, nice to hear from you. With this pandemic, it has obviously caused people at Suunto who plan and research different options and ideas on how they can help and serve the community. I have heard the conversation about Oximeters, but I have no insight what and if that will be introduced/available. It would be cool as you said, but I would assume that it would have to be really well thought and planned through before any sort of development/release. :)
Can we have a travel bubble with Finland ?? 😊
That would be good Sandra :D
Ah, good to see you raking the forest floor just like Trump said all Finns do.
uniqueflowsnake haha 😂
