I travel a ton for work so my AVP is my best friend! I absolutely could not leave home without it. It’s my personally movie theater and PC Monitor. It’s not for everyone…but it is for me. 😊
I have to agree 💯%. I flew to Denmark for Christmas and the four hour flight to Denmark went flying by thanks to my Apple Vision Pro. I downloaded several episodes of Silo, which is great! And several films from my library. Honestly the best investment I’ve had in years. So I can’t wait to travel long haul to the USA later in the year.
@@bullsykes it’s so good to hear people’s experiences and even better than that, you being another person who’s contributing to normalizing wearing a HMD on a plane. Vision Pro is by far the easiest device to get access to media for download. It’s not so easy on Quest unfortunately. Thank you for watching and may your flight feel short when you go to the US.
I have had Vision Pro since day one in February 2024 and have thoroughly enjoyed flying with Vision Pro. In VisionOS 2 and later Travel Mode can be turned on even after the plane is in the air. I used an external battery pack to extend the amount of time. It also helped that I could plug into the power outlets. Absolutely the best way to fly. Cheers!
@@WilliamPhillippe fantastic to hear and I’m happy you are another person normalizing travel with a headset! It’s the way to go and I think it would be hard to go back to other devices on a plane now I have had Vision Pro. Thank you for watching.
great vid. I've been using my AVP on flights from LA to NY (about 5 hours). Makes the experience SO MUCH better! To be sitting in an actual movie theatre with a massive screen is game changing on a long flight. I too have always been the only one on the flight with an AVP. Can't wait for future versions where others join in. They really don't know what they are missing. BTW - I too have a power bank like yours, but haven't needed to use it yet. So far, on every flight they've had plug-in outlets in my seat. I always bring my power cord to charge AVP while on the trip and I just plug it in and the battery stays at 100%.
@@2112ZOZ that’s great to hear and it’s awesome knowing people such as yourself are helping to normalise wearing headsets on planes. I have been doing it with other headsets for 6 years but Vision Pros experience is by far the best. Thanks for watching my video, it’s greatly appreciated. 🙌🙌🙌
Hope you had a amazing flight over to Vegas with Virgin ✈️ it’s nice to see you using AVP onboard, I am yet to see anyone use one yet, but like you said price point but as crew love taking mine with me on my trips. Looking forward to your CES content!!
@@SeanKedge flight was really smooth to be fair so thanks for the well wishes. I hope I can with other people seeing my video, help in making flying with a headset more accessible? No matter what it is. CES content in bound 😁
@@SamuelHlab it is a very cool show, this year isn’t the biggest I have ever been to but it’s very cool and I would recommend anyone who loves tech who can go, should go at least once.
I’ve done the same between California and France recently. Not sure if people looked at me or not, didn’t care. Only issue is Travel Mode not sticking after a reboot. So don’t forget to have the Annapro already installed before take off if your bag doesn’t allow to leave it on. Cause activating travel mode while flying is near impossible. Not even sure how I was able to… :)
@@mimizone that was something I was concerned about, I always tend to boot up Vision Pro on board before takeoff and set travel mode and then wait till I’m on the air to watch it but I did have a few moments where I was thinking, shall I turn it off and see if it doesn’t work restarting travel mode. I may experiment towards the end of my flight home and see if I can offer any advice if that’s even possible. Thanks for giving me that information and thanks for watching the channel. 🙌
