I've never tried apple vision pro and i don't think I will get a chance for many years.... But I own a PSVR2 and a Quest 3.... I prefer the quest to the PSVR2.... But how does the Vision Pro compare to either of those?
@@monkeyswift100 that is a great question and I’m very happy you have headsets. Doesn’t matter what they are, it just shows they offer you some form of entertainment. So Apple Vision Pro really excels at video media because the displays are so high resolution you can’t see pixels and so movies look better than at a movie theater. 3D movies are bright and really have depth compared to Real3D at cinemas and the sound is Dolby Atomos level. With easy access to Disney+, Apple TV and Amazon Prime, it’s great to get the best quality content on the device for travel. It also excels in should 3D models and 3D experiences. It’s not a gaming device (yet) but PSVR2 controllers will be compatible. If you haven’t had a demo in a store of AVP, I highly recommend it. Thank you for your question and watching the video.
@@TonyStark-yj6iv currently there isn’t a native RUclips app but you can watch it on safari very easy, most of the AVP community found out Google are gate keeping native apps from Vision Pro because they are making a headset with Samsung with Android XR OS. The Vision Pro is incredible and has some very good apps, the second gen will be worth waiting on now unless you have money to burn. Definitely have a demo in store if you haven’t already.
No native RUclips or IG apps, but you can watch / access both via Safari no problem. There are 3rd party apps for $1 that syncs with IG / Threads no problem. RUclips works perfectly fine via Safari. Same with Netflix and everything else. Love my AVP.

It’s not past doing this but RUclips is a service and assuming they plan of making it a MR/VR space as well, they would want it on all platforms. I’m going with the glass half full explanation that it’s coming soon and it’s just viewing audiences. That being said, they seem to be enshitifying their app on Apple TV lately.
@ I got the impression from Boz of Meta that Google seem very unreceptive to collaboration or to suggestions from Meta, so it would appear they are keeping things for themselves in some way, I do feel like if you have a XROS and a robust hardware partner, you want to get the growth of your product as fast as possible by appealing to all that want those services and by keeping it away from Apple, the choice for some will be easier. Yes Meta have a RUclips app but that was before Android XR and Samsungs partnership was event a thought. Drip feed to outside XR makers later once you have gathered your own user base.

Hi brother I have issues with the THEATER app that I love for watching videos and movies. However, sometimes the app goes hang and doesn’t work. After that, I delete the entire app and reinstall it, and it works perfectly again. I don’t know why this keeps happening, but it does. Are you facing this problem with you? Let me know, brother

@@AVisionexperiment I am so impressed, didn't take long to set up, worked out how to add a separate iCloud and (old) iTunes account for my media, surprising how easy it is to control with your eyes and a pinch. I tested it out with the end of Star Wars Rogue One where Vader boards the Rebellion ship - it just floored me, I love it. Your video helped finally convince me to go for it, now I will be trying out the apps you recommended! I am so impressed with it!

@@rienzitrento8397 I agree, I guess with all bleeding edge technology, the cost to make the components is really high, so I can only hope as the processes get easier and they do more refinement of the hardware for what isn’t necessary, they can bring the cost down for future versions.
@@jakekisiel7399 you should dig it out, invest in a solid comfort accessory (Annapro A2 is a great one… discount code is in some of my video descriptions) and try using VisionOS 2 ultrawide display if you have a Apple Silicon Mac of some kind with sequoia installed. It’s a really cool use case which can drive productivity or game playing and then try and watching movies and TV shows if you are into that stuff? My home 65” 4K TV is redundant for me compared.
@ save your battery and use passthrough when you need to,the lighting of the space you are in makes a big difference with Apple Vision Pro passthrough, brightly lit rooms with natural sun lighting will always work the best with the small sensor cameras, any level of lower light and I don’t know a headset that exists that can cope without major noise. So I just use the Apple environments, it’s saves your battery as the camera don’t need to show you a live feed and the two new ones are nice with Bora Bora being a great zone out location. Personally passthrough is very much to get you around and maybe a bit of awareness but it’s never at retina capability yet and Apple much like meta always make out things are better than they truly are in promotion.
thanks for the video. I'm not impressed by these apps tbh. Oculus already have killer apps like population one game, I'm still waiting for an app of game that would allow me to fly an f16 or play multiplayer soccer or a cool fps shooter like pop one. Would love to hear your opinion on that.
@@admggm Vision Pro isn’t really the right headset for that type of thing really, it’s definitely Meta Quests strength. These apps are impressive from a resolution standpoint, you won’t experience this level of quality out of Quest but I guess you aren’t looking for video consumption. Thanks for watching.
Some are free, I made sure there was some, some are in app purchase/subscription for extras and some are paid. When I do app recommendation I try to add variety of cost options. Sorry to hear you are a bit locked out from the paid apps. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and hopefully the Netherlands gets a proper release soon.
@ I guess you have issues with access to the App Store. You would need a US payment method if you are on a U.S. account outside of America in a region where it hasn’t had a official release. It’s not about not having the money.
@@설리-o2w You can find it odd all you want. But not everyone is rich unlike you like to believe in order to have to buy this device. I bought it 2nd hand at great discount. And used alot of my savings for it. So yes I have limited funds to spare. But its a great device with free apps too like alvr and moonlight. but yeah the paid apps ecosystem and inability to jailbreak it are not good.

I find it odd someone would be worried about prices on the apps when they have a $3500+ headset.
