    LMAO! 😆😆About the s’mores… part of the s’mores clips I had issues with no audio, when I went to start filming, I forgot to turn the mic back on and I filmed that part without audio 😭 it was one of those days. I apologize for not including it. You can see when I give the Pancake Bonanza its Vivian Heads that the s’mores are in the pan, they weren’t pretty but they weren’t a fail either.
    It makes me so happy to see you'll enjoy the video. I’m reading and replying to comments now. xoxo 😘😘 Also, the recipe for the Fluffy Ass Pancakes ---
    *Fluffy Ass Pancakes*
    1 ½ c flour
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 tbsp baking powder
    ¾ tsp salt
    1 ¼ c seltzer water
    1 large egg
    4 tbsp melted butter
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    😘😘

    My grandpa’s secret for super fluffy pancakes is to separate the eggs, mix the egg yolks with the wet ingredients, and to beat the egg whites to form stiff peaks, and gently fold them into the pancake batter. Perfectly fluffy pancakes every time. You’re welcome. 😂😂 🥞 = ❤️

      They're called souffle pancakes. I us the same recipe and it only takes a small amount of flour to make nice pancakes. I add lots of melted butter and just enough milk to get to the right consistency. Looks like pancakes but tastes like french toast.

I finally can eat my eggs the way I have wanted to for so long. I like for my eggs white done yolks runny. They came out perfect. Which is a miracle I have tried so many different ways to make these eggs and none of them worked. I tried Pinterest ways and old fashioned ways and still nothing until this product. So thank you Vivian thank you thank you thank you. My husband and I watch you all the time. Love you please keep doing these videos and Companies if your watching you all need to start sending her free stuff to try. She should not have to go purchase anything . You pay thousands of dollars for advertising . What you need to do is start putting Vivian approved on your packaging !

    With that recipe, it wouldn’t matter which pan you use, for the fluffy pancakes. The seltzer water adds the fluff.

  • @teridoster5840
    @teridoster5840 6 лет назад +15

    You burned it bcuz that pan is too damn thin! Just use the recipe in one of your other Gotham Steel or Red Copper pans 💜
    Tip... Add a little extra seltzer water to thin it out a tad, pour batter in a steady stream without moving and you'll end up with perfectly round pancakes! And try not to mix it so much, pancake batter should be mixed only until *just blended* (lumps are perfectly fine and will cook out). Also, let the batter "rest" for 15-20 min after mixing to relax the gluten for perfect tender pancakes 💜

    What I don’t get with some of these companies is why don’t they just put the nonstick on the bevels where the handle meets the pot....

    I have a teflon coated square skillet. Four nice size pancakes will fit on it at one time. Can't imagine cooking pancakes one at a time even if I"m the only one eating them. My favorite pancakes were made using a waffle recipe. It simply calls for oil in the batter and that means they don't stick to the pan easily.

    I add lemon juice to the measuring cup before adding water for pancakes. Makes the baking powder react more, and adds a flavor most people can’t identify, but they love it!

    Hey girl so I was told I make the best fluffy pancakes just like my grandma. My mom is the one who said it so I was really honoured to hear that. There are a couplw2 of tricks but the first would be not to over mix them because then they just get all glutenous and you end up with heavy pancakes. Another tip is to leave your batter in the measuring cup or bowl for about 10 mins. It almost rises and forms bubbles which is what can make those awesome fluffy pancakes.

    Do you still love your copper pans? Which is more affordable? Do you have to use silicone utensils (no metal) to keep from ruining? I've watched all your videos and was thinking about getting one BUT since this is an older video, just curious if your mind has changed or if you feel the same. 😊💜😊

  • @ckgandy
    @ckgandy 6 лет назад +2

    To keep the handles closed tight, I bet one of the big, metal, binder-clips (get them at Wal-Mart or Office Depot) would do the trick. I use those almost as much as Duct-tape for my "work-arounds". LOL!! To me, it looks like the batter is a tad too thick so perhaps a slight increase of the liquid would make it more spreadable.

  • @wayne1955
    @wayne1955 6 лет назад +1

    My pancakes come out as fluffy as those you made in the video, but they are the diameter of that plate you were using to put them on. My dad always called my pancakes man hole covers due to the thickness and the fact they were usually 8 to 9 inches in diameter. I have a 12 inch and a 14 inch no stick fry pan that I use for them so that way if I want a really big 12 inch diameter pancake I can make one. I also done a lot of searching on Amazon till I found a pancake turner that is almost 8 inches wide by 9 inches long so that I can turn them without them breaking in two.

    First of all; I love the video! Nice work! However.... in the beginning when you are listing the -fluff- ingredients, you read out Baking Powder. At the 7 minute mark, you say you used Baking SODA. Baking Powder and Baking Soda are two different animals. The Seltzer water alone will fluff up the pancake. The Baking Powder will give it an extra lift without sacrificing taste, but if you use Baking Soda, you will make your pancake taste like chalk! I seriously (no joke) use baking soda to unclog a drain. It's cheaper than draino and works just as well. I had to mention this just in case someone listened to your 7 minute mark and put baking soda in their pancake. Yuck! But again, great video! I enjoyed it!

    1/21/24 I got mine a few days ago and my first pancake turned out perfect and the next few times it didn't. I used Bisque pancake mix. I added 1/2 cup to the pan and it spread as large as the pan. But I also used a spatula to work around the edges and underneath because it was stuck before flipping. But I haven't kept the lid closed the whole time either. So the next time just keep the lid closed until ready to flip. No recipe came with my. And I ordered mine from TEMU. Must get a different spatula because I have a stainless steel which I noticed a black mark this morning when I used it. Thanks for sharing but funny.

    Vivian, I'm looking for new set of pans. I watched your videos about Gotham Steel but I have a question. When you set the skillets on the stove will they sit there level even without a lid or food in them? The last set of pans I got the skillets all tip over toward the handles unless you have them full or lidded. I think that is kind of dangerous and don't want that same problem for my next 10-15 years of pan usage. Thank you. :)

    I think the fluffy pancakes is from the recipe and nothing to do with the flippy pan. Any nonstick pan will for for the eghs and pancakes right?.??
