My wife and I were born in Slndh and moved to India in 1948. This last February we visited Karachi and many parts of Sindh. We received extreme hospitality, respect and affection wherever we went. In Sukkur the Sindh government provided a police escort for our safety. Food was great in Karachi and sukkur( you must visit Sindhri restaurant in Sukkur). It was a very emotional and spiritual experience returning to our birthplace after 75 years..

Sindhi Muslims have enormous respect for Sindhi Hindus because they had been living together since centuries. Hindus celebrate Eid and Muharram with us and we put color on them on Holi.
It's after 1947 with the arrival of outsiders that atmosphere started getting changed and many Hindus migrated but even then there were no killings or riots in Sindh such was the land of Sufis - Sindh.
This recent wave of forceful conversions and resultant exodus of Hindus has pained every Sindhi here. We have and we will always reject this mullaiyat Taliban mentality and forever stand with our Hindu's brothers and sisters right to practice their religion.

Population from 23% to 5% is a stupid argument and a stupid lie.
People migrated East to West, and west to east. That is the only reason. 6 million people went to India, 7 million came into Pakistan.
In the first census after independence, in 1951, the population was 3.5%, 5% would mean an Increase in population.
We have great regard and respect for people of all faiths and religions. All Hindus, Christian and Sikhs are our brothers. This is the lesson of State of Madina that our Prophet, Peace be upon Him, had taught us.

This is nothing but Indian propaganda against Pakistan based on lies.
The facts is population of West Pakistan was 30 millions. 20% Hindu Sikh i.e. 5-6 millions left to go to Indian punjab and 5-6 millions of Muslims from east punjab migrated to West Punjab. This is reason of rapid population decline is punjab.
In 1947, Hindus and Sikhs refused to join Pakistan so British divided greater punjab into 2, riots broke out and were getting out of control. Both countries decided to swap populations completely in punjab. All the Hindus and Sikh went to Indian side of punjab and Muslims from east punjab were forced to go to Pakistani punjab, 1-2 millions died in the process, hence the population of minorities in Pakistan declined significantly.
In sindh, when muhajir from UP, CP, Delhi and Gujarat etc came in millions, sindhi Hindu got scared and majority left for India.

Well Hindu community must stay always in Pakistan this is their traditional land from centuries rather thousands of years why they should have left in 1947. I think this was a spontaneous trigger of disturbances that caused mayhem distrust which compelled many to leave their motherland. The Hindus living on Pakistani part have a rich heritage which goes back to the days of Jayapala or Jaipal the last king of Hindushahi dynasty 10th century. They spoke local vernacular either Dari or Pushto their mother tongue. To many now living in Pakistan must understand that 8th to 10th centuries was a period of great change and conversions. So those Hindus living in Pakistan are their kin or same blood relations. The lands of Sindhu(upper Sindh) Sauvira the lower Sindh(Tharparkar around were two kingdoms about 1200 BC but the Hindushahi Dynasty rulers of Kabul valley ruled from 3rd century AD. After the defeat of Jayapala at the hands of Mahmud of Ghazni the down fall of Hindushahi dynasty began. Mahmud was a Turkic speaker who were first convert family from Central or eastrn part of Iran.
Well to cut short I give credit to Hindus of Pakistan still surviving despite strong resistance from extremist elements. Most of the Hindus living in Sindh were not so much disturbed as compared to living in Punjab or KPK. Hindus of Sindh retain a very strong bond to their religion and culturally they are rich and colorful.
Millions of Hindus have left. People like Mukesh Ambani’s who’s family is Sindhi also left to safety and success in secular India

To main Pakistan ka logoko nayi drishti se dekhna suru kar raha hun , aur Europe me abtak do ya tin incident ke savay mera experience bahut positive raha hain.
Lekin jaise ye admi ne kaha ki 5% log aise hote hain jiska vyabhhar sab rista bigar dete hain, logo ka andar sandeh payda karte hain.
