Zeba played Henna to the perfection. She looked amazing in the role of a pious, innocent girl in the movie. A great story and acting by the star caste. I got so much absorbed while watching that I literally cried at the end of the movie. Climax of 'Henna' was realistic and sad, but carried on the message of humanity love and unity well. Rishi Kapoor ji, Rest in Peace.

Rishi was on decline. Raj kapoor had passed away. Randhir directed rest of movie. If this movie had come before ram teri ganga maili it would have been much more recognized. Honestly if more hindu people were living in paak on equal terms lots of paak actors would be in hindi urdu movies.

Being a RK banner film , the film didn't do well on the box office. Music and songs were appreciated . The actresses Zeba bakhtiyar and Ashvini bhave were appreciated for their performance.
i have seen heena 4 to 5 times.
I guess i must have watched Hinna probably 50 times back then. It was such a wonderful movie. Songs were amazing. Zeba was at the best of her performance alongside Rishi kapoor( a handsome hunk of his time),,, it was a lethal duo
I have great memories of that era as i was very young and this was initial movies of my childhood. Also, another movie 'Dil' of Amir khan at that time was something i watched so manyyyyy times. Can you believe that those days same movie was watched many times? Aj kul aik bar k baad ham dhekty b nahi. Content and songs and acting at that era was superb. These days its mosly item songs and vulgarity
