Love it , love it , great idea sharing opinions and news. The Main Strem Media is so tainted and bias I never listen to it any more - an honest opinion like this is much better and we can agree or not agree with the presenter but it is worth the listen great stuff

Hi Andrew, good idea! Maybe you could investigate whatever happened to the FFA ( farmers for action lobby group) they wer once trying to pass a motion in Stormont which would see farmers paid the cost of production plus a wee bit more for our work..

Super idea could you give us the prices that factories are paying for beef and lamb if you can dig out that information. Us farmers in the south would be interested in knowing. example why has the numbers of lambs coming south for slaughter increased by over 10 % since year began .they have to be getting more money than their home markets. Us farmers in the south are selling ours at below cost production.i can't understand how our costs are any different to the north flock .keep up the good work cause information is king .kieran in co cavan.

Fine idea don't worry about being real serious you will get the message over the way you are PS l keep a few sheep and the price of lambs has completely collapsed I hope milk and beef prices continue to be stable

So you want energy.
How about solar panels on the roof and a turbine above it. Also harvest the water off the roof for the animals inside or pump it to the fields
I use energy most when it's dark, no renewables makes sense, I done the sums.
I've always wondered how the retail mark up for food compares with other everyday items such as clothing and cleaning materials etc. You could finish with Slán agus Beanacht.

Great idea, Presentation is great honestly a smile and a lighter mood is quite refreshing, Keep at it and Kate Adie will be looking for tips 😂. Solar farms taking up productive farm land is a massive waste, There are plenty of parking lots, shed or building roofs and non productive land that could be used so all in all there is a place for them and they would help stabilize electric prices for the future, have you considered installing them, will they also ban goods imported from countries that use that method for exploring for new gas, if they don’t then it’s just offloading the issue to somewhere else, and making the local economy less efficient. the only good thing about high price fert is that it forces people to be very efficient with it, It would be great to hear your ideas on more efficient uses and alternatives that can be used, I guess there have been wars fought over it with the guano wars etc, So it has been going on for some time, Great job btw,

Great Idea Andrew. Value your opinions (maybe not on Russian imports, but 100% understand your reasoning behind it, it's fair, I just disagree with any money going towards the Russian war machine). Keep going!
Also, wouldn't worry about trying to be gimmicky or flashy. Your knowledge is what's getting people talking (in my very anecdotal experience, work for a contractor and your channel comes up often when helping covering pits, when to cut etc. around various NI farms) so wouldn't waste your time making it clickbait-esk. Likely a flawed tactic for channel growth, but helps your credibility.
Great advice! Diverse opinions are more than welcome, my strategy will be to keep it light hearted.

A better idea would be to get industry experts in to critique your farming practice. There are so many different specialist areas which you need knowledge about which would show how complex farming has become... You would need fertility, soil, machinery, economists, Finance, legal etc
People don't want to listen to "experts" they have the knowledge but can't communicate
Maybe but if your too overly opinionated on news you could quickly turn people off. You'll end up just becoming too preachy
I'm sure an expert would love to chat with you about your cash flow, assumptions you make etc. It would make a great video. I'm sure plenty would challenge your opinion that they can't communicate

In the south west we are becoming one massive solar farm I would love to know the impact on migration of birds as they look like water from afar. If the governments were serious they would subsidise every large building to have solar unfortunately it's big London money getting rich would bother me less if it reduced cost for locals.
A dedicated news release across all the social platforms and not part of a RUclips video would be great. Also edit in the news clip at the end of every RUclips video. Top job 👍🏻

Great Video, My advice, don't do the news at the cost to your channel! My suggestion is focus on issues rather than frequency when a genuine issue comes up do a video on it, then focus on your farm and farm mgmt, you have an excellent channel, try to avoid getting too political
Absolutely agree, the idea this is strictly a low effort, once a week video. Someone told me a once a week farming video was enough and I agree with them, so that's the plan. Also agree with the political bit, I try and keep it light hearted.

Try not to be a typical farmer by doing it all yourself😜. There is any gods amount of farmers, who want to be celebrities. It would be very entertaining to see various different farmers informing us of the latest farming/agricultural news. Imagine the crack of seeing your neighbour or friend giving us the latest news. Invite other you tubers, for collaborations, so we can get , local regional topics.
Had that idea also! Collaboration would be fun. I will keep it simple for now. 👍
