    I love her so much! She's so cute and I love her voice! Her story is wild! I'm glad that her and her fiance are still together and in recovery. You don't see that too often and when it does, it's pretty magical. My wife and I did the same thing. We met in a halfway house and dated when we weren't suppose to. Everyone figured it was just a recovery fling but here we are, 9 years later still going strong. Good luck to anyone reading this that is struggling or in the process of rebuilding. I've got nothing but love for all addicts .

    Her story is relatable because we were all at that point where we thought that we'd never become an addict. However, it happens so fast that we barely recognize it.

    I’m a 21 year old heroin and crack cocaine addict, I want to get better but I simply can’t, I’m shivering, I’m scared, as I write this I’m thinking of selling my phone for dope, I have no one, no one cares about me, the only thing I have and the only thing that makes me feel good is the drugs.

    I've noticed that every addiction case has a root in bad parenting. Parents really should step up in how they raise their kids.

    Courtney, you just finally realized that these women were not coming around to take your boyfriend, Brett, away from you. And that they did not want to come and beat you up or even try and mess with you some other ways.❤❤❤❤❤

    The fact that her boyfriend was a user too definitely didn't help her situation. She got more into the habit because of him.

    The best thing her mom did was to take her kids from her on Mothers' day. That right there probably saved those kids' lives.

    The I would not do this or that really happens. The irony of it is the more we say one thing the more life tease us ha ha. What is scary is where you are when you say this? If it is drugs then uts a no no. Try things out yes but never this way,

    • @ArizonaAkinTv

      Courtney Strickland I mean no disrespect saying these things , but for one, you never explained why the police "tackled" you when you got off the train for a sec and never explained what happened with that at all or how they just let you go. I've never heard of an interaction with law enforcement like that before

    • @ArizonaAkinTv
      @ArizonaAkinTv 5 лет назад

      Courtney Strickland also the couples halfway house thing. "We talked to this girl who told us we'd get into a couples halfway house" like, based on one girl's mention of a halfway house, y'all moved and became homeless? Or did this girl manipulate y'all but in that case, why? It just doesn't make any sense to me. I hate to be one of the people "hating" in the comments because it takes courage to share your story, but it does seem like you kinda glazed over some dirt you did to just make it seem like things were "happening" to you that may possibly have been consequences of actions you just didn't mention

    • @ArizonaAkinTv
      @ArizonaAkinTv 5 лет назад

      I'm a tried and true bullshitter too (; what's the saying "can't bullshit a bullshitter" haha all love girl I swear

    • @courtneystrickland5770
      @courtneystrickland5770 5 лет назад +1

      ArizonaAkinTv lol I completely understand what your saying now . so yea all that crazy shit did happen and there is a lot more to all of those stories for sure! This video was edited and they just use the parts that they want to. Sorry lol. The couples halfway house thing was def crazy it seriously blew my mind like the lady i was talking to you on the phone was telling me like everything I wanted to hear she was like all I need you guys to do is get here and everything will be fine and at my state of mind back then at the time like that was the best news I had heard in Forever and I was so desperate that I was willing to do anything. when we got down there I called the place that we were supposed to going to to let them know that we haf finally made it and that they could come pick us up and they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. I start freaking out and I explain everything to them told them who I talked to and they told me that she had been fired and no longer worked there and because neither.of us had insurance there was nothing they could do. Oh the fuckery lmao that whlle trip still blows my mind. Ok so the cops tackled me and Brett because they had been there waiting on us to get off so they could arrest Brett because of a probation violation. I got let go because I had no warrants or drugs on me. I still have no idea how they knew that we were on that bus and I still dont understand why they Had to do all that over a probation violation . that shit still blows my mind it was crazy as fuck. I hope that clarifies it a little for ya. It still sounds crazy af every time I say it. You cant make this shit up 😂😂😂
