refreshing to see very sophisticated design not taken overly seriously, but this project really deserves better. Or, serious viewers deserve an opportunity to view this project in an unapologetically appreciative and informative light
Thank you for the feedback! Our content is a work in progress and especially in these early episodes we experimented a lot on the format. In the newest episodes, we have increased the level of information, but we will always stay “cheeky” to provide an alternative to the traditionally conservative architectural content. 👍🏼
Nice enough as another example of a longhouse. Every one has the main living area as kitchen then island then dining table and chairs and then a couple of couches and a fireplace. They all have a bedroom at one end or one at each end. The farmhouse outbuilding collection style is attractive.
To answer Mathias' question, what I've read is that it is highly unlikely fossils can be found in marble. Anything that could become a fossil would not survive the intense heat and pressure during seismic activity that results in marble. Stunning house. Thanks for showing it to us.
Hi guys, love your content, just a suggestion it would be nice if you guys can get a lens that allow you to have more open shots in the videos, in small spaces it feels like we are not getting the full view of the room. Keep the great work =)
My family and I recently acquired a place similar to this and we will begin to build a self-sustaining house and you show many ideas in the video that I would love to replicate. I don't know how I got to this channel, I was looking for copper and I found gold, it has excellent content, I have subscribed to the RUclips channel immediately 🤙
This is a lovely home. This is my first time watching your video after following you on Insta. I like they way you point out some of the impractical aspects of a home. While some these homes are beautiful there are impractical aspects to them.
I did enjoy watching this video and the quirky way he presents it. It’s a good change But House costs a million and he thinks the curtains is great, good for privacy so it gets 30secs of his video lol For a million I don’t want to even see neighbours or people. Making fun of their house and architects design you won’t be invited back or to the architects next house you’ll be blacklisted lol, 😂 I am going to subscribe for the quirky style of presenting :) and that’s a nice house to review. Good to see

@@RestlessLiving actually, inside the "real marble" you can't find fossils, but there are stones, that are very similar to the marble, that have plenty of fossils inside! Here in Italy, for example, we have the Rosso verona, the Daino imperiale and the Pierre Blue! The one inside the kitchen and the bathroom is presumably stone.
Hey restless Living. Im an IG follower and a subscriber. very nice contents especially the Instagram. However, I think it would be nicer if you minimize a bit of a filter on the video but more of a natural color grading to really emphasize the architecture colors and nature. hehe. Great channel as always!
I enjoy your fun manner. It is nice to see how you interact with architecture. As an Architect, I appreciate your approach. Can you give the name and details of this building and future buildings - including writing down who designed/architects are? Oops - just noticed the details. Managed to get more info via Archdaily.
Thank you, Rui! Appreciate the words. This is exactly what we are aiming to do: To make architecture fun and entertaining. No more boring house tours! Stay tuned, we will soon produce more content. 🙌🏼
Thanks for your comment. There are plenty of ‘serious’ architecture shows out there - which is great. We are instead trying to make architecture informal and interesting for everybody through humor and energy. 😊
@@RestlessLiving understandable...but less clapping while you talk would be very helpful as it's distracting to watch and listen to while trying to follow your description of different features of the property. Also, it would be helpful if you tour the home BEFORE you film the walk-through - more professional that way and much more respectful to the homeowner, architect, etc., especially if they are trying to sell the home.

toooo shalow depth of field. Hope your cameraman sees this :)
Architectural knowledge like explaining the things or materials. If you could review this video you'll notice he doesn't know stuff. Watching Enes' videos can help. 😊
@@qrwilson3387 Admittedly, I am not an architect (even though I founded @restless.arch on Instagram). And, I do not pretend to be one either. Homes are for everybody, and why not create a show embracing that fact? Our show is much more about the feeling and experience of a home rather than a factual walkthrough of a project (hence 'Living'; getting a sense of how it is to live there). 😊

Such a nice house

SUPERB house.. and Mathias you don't get fossils in marbels.
I will tell him 😂

Thanks a lot! Yes - we are still trying to find the right color grading balance. Hopefully we will get it in place soon! 🙌🏼
Bro you speak like Bjarke, is it a Danish Accent: Soo cool!!!!!
how many square meters do you think the main barn is ?

3:45. Love a lot of this design. By man get better rollers for that barn door. What a pity Cool design elsewhere though
Where does the rain water run off the roof?
The rainwater pipes are integrated in the edge of the roof, so they do not obstruct the architectural expression 👍🏼
Next time a bit more serious, please. This house is a gem.

Take a look at the newest episodes. I think it has been fixed ;-)
Too much goofing around, hand claps and talking unrelated to the architecture. It would have been nice to see more of this beautiful house properly.
I’m quite sure there can’t be fossils in marble😂
Me too 😂
sure there can be
