Its understandable the past generations won't know how the events of P5 is connected to human collective unconsciousness and Shadows due the cognitive world being very different from their battles. The Shadow Operatives fights off Shadows appearing in the real world while the Inaba Investigation Team is a mix of SEES and Phantom Thieves; investigating the TV World and connections to the real world cases (Inaba murders and fog of lies, Labrys' robbery and Love Meet Bonds Festival). However the Day of Reckoning, Maruki's dreamworld and EMMA might at least catch their attention, possibly a secret investigation in order to connect the cases. Aigis and Yu are possibly on standby considering their role as Wild Cards is to prevent/delay humanity's innermost destructive desires from destroying humanity. I kind of imagine in the next P5 gen spin off after Scramble, Aigis and Yu prepares for the new battle and meeting the Phantom Thieves; Aigis visits Makoto Yuki's grave before being called by Fuuka and Mitsuru. Yu visits Marie in Inaba, taking a new katana and learns from Margaret on the new battle. I can imagine a surprise visit in Leblanc, when Ren managing Leblanc alone during Christmas-winter break, brought along Akechi's glove. I can imagine the awkwardness of Yu and Aigis being the only customers; a robot looking woman and a tall man asking Ren about Personas.

antique weapon is still a weapon,you could bring a katana or any weapon from the samurai age and you can still behead someone else in a second while the toy gun only works in the metaverse
