This was the last bf title my friends and I played together hardcore. When bfv came out we all played it for like a week and that was at launch. Been playing games on my own going on 6 years now. All I have now are memories.
One time, a teammate and I were running through the fields on Monte Grappa when we saw an arty truck. I immediately dropped down and began shooting it with AT. Just before it ran me over I shot it with my last bullet and it blew up, directly in front of me. Definitely my best moment in this game
BF1 will forever have a special place in my ❤️. The game was a complete different experience compared to the other games, if only DICE put the same energy and passion in BF5 and 2042 to make the game as awesome as this one.
Apparently a main reason is because after bf1 a lot of important people left. That’s why bf5 had a rocky launch (along with awful marketing). After seeing that disaster it caused an exodus of all the ones that didn’t already leave so a majority of important positions and devs aren’t even the same people anymore it’s a different company
I’ll never forget hooking my friends console up to their home theater and playing this. Just the complete immersion into the game was so dramatic, when we turned it off after hours of just handing the remote back and forth just how quiet it was, no game is ever going to make me as awestruck as this game did the first time I played it.

I had a great one on BF4 the other day.....I killed a tank with a smaw, low health and an enemy little bird comes in low and kills the guy 20ft in front of me...I pull out my smaw and just stand still and wait. He sees me and headlight towards me. He starts shooting, you can see the bullets hit the ground in front of me and then they start to track straight at me.
