Adrian....nice video. 2022 Chevy Coloraco with 6 " lift. Wifey wants steps installed, but i prefer a cleaner look than the onerous nerf bars. These appear to be a nice option.
I installed these on my truck except in the polished flavor. I ended up deciding the metal brackets wasn't needed also. I also came to the conclusion the screws sucked ass. Honestly all of the hardware was junk, I stripped the only bolt out that I used from over tightening it. I believe they are stainless steel or aluminum. I replaced them with steel bolts, washers & nuts. You're correct about not needing the screw's at the top as it presses into the inner rockers. However for those that are going to install these & want to use the upper hardware, I'd suggest getting some self tapping machine screws with a bolt head on them..Torx but head would be my second choice. You can up the game a bit by getting the led tag lights that has a screw mounting hole on each side & wiring the positive wire of your interior dome light door switch. Then when you open your door you light up the bully steps. The plastic wedges that come with the steps could be used to adjust the angle of the light if they are not needed in the step installation.
Front suspension is custom mid travel with King Coilovers. It has boxed upper and lower control arms, heimed steering, coilover adapter. The rear suspension is a custom bedcage with King Bypass shocks and Deaver leaf springs with a Raptor rear end on it.
@@JustKingAdrian good I guess I mean I've been looking all over for single cab long bed steps are running boards for a Silverado 2001 I'm just trying not to spend more than$100 And the projects been on the back burner for a while so I haven't really spent the whole
If you want to use the top bracket drill the whole in it bigger and drill a hole in the truck, use a rive-nut much stronger
7:40 Mad respect homie showing the mistake. Most youtubers would've never shown that.
Good work bro .I warking in

Ya the hardware sucked but for the price it was still worth it. Mine are holding up great how they are. Thanks for the extra info!

Is this only for Ford
No, these are universal and come with hardware to mount to different trucks.
