Good video, I like how the exhaust sounds. I also like the fact you can remove the baffle and choose your volume level. One thing that has me baffled is all this concern around these bikes running lean?. Unless there is something about these injection systems that I don’t know then these bikes should never run too lean or rich ever. The fact it has fuel injection, an ecu and has a lambda sensor takes this running lean or rich away. Regardless of whether the ecu has a manifold pressure sensor or not the lambda sensor will detect rich and lean conditions as that’s its job. If it detects a lean condition it will adjust the fuel trims to compensate accurately and over time memorise these settings. That’s how fuel injection works. Also, only if the fuel trims go over 25% +\- will the CEL come on. There is no way that either an intake or exhaust will create more than a 25% gain of air ingested or increase in exhaust gas speed by 25% so the standard system should cope just fine with both mods. Everything runs towards the side of “leaner” from the factory simply to appease the tree hugging twats and government legislation. Lastly, these bikes are equipped with catalytic converters, the square like box part of the exhaust in the middle. For a catalyst to work and not be destroyed we all know they constantly cycle from rich to lean all day long or the cat would die soon enough due to all the unburnt fuel. Anyways, happy gromming to all 👍
I hear the “carbon fiber” will fade after a while but that’s the clear finish that fades. For that price you can get another or get a rattle can of clear coat, wet sand it and shoot it again. Best bargain exhaust out there imho
Wipe everything off with alcohol before starting it get your fingerprints off and reflash your ecu. Airbox mod will not make it richer it will be leaner. Reflash after that too.

@sharp kkilla taking the baffle isn’t bad, the only thing is it will make the exhaust very loud but the baffle is to muffle the sound a little so it isn’t as crazy loud, I’m gonna experiment with this because I just bought this exhaust and I’m pretty excited 😆
I bought one of these and loved it for a few months but now it sounds like crap. It sounds like it blew its guts out. Anyone else notice the sound changing after a few months. I put about 2400 miles on in about 5 months before it really seamed to crap out.

More air would be more lean if you did the airbox mod. Get your ecu tuned.
When you get more air in the ECU puts more fuel in to adapt.
But yes a proper tune is still the best way to do it
